Haha, I was thinking of starting the same thread eventually. "What did you 3d Print for your Gladiator today?" To keep a full list and ideas coming.
Unfortunately, I don't design, so can only print what others provide. But there's a good collection of possibilities from mounts and clips...
Yikes, better take care of that before you come back with the same story as OP.
You're not the first, and it may be adjustable per... https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/soft-top-unclamps-while-driving-at-highway-speeds.39858/
Looking for great condition OEM Mopar Soft Rollup Tonneau Cover. Specifically the post 2020 model, that has right bracket for 2023 JTs.
I don't have a JT yet, but there doesn't seem to many MI sales so putting out request early.
May also be interested in premium soft top.
Edit: found a...
3.5 years, I assume it's the pre 1/20/20 version?
They have different attach points. Early models have hole at bottom of bracket like last picture here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/mopar-jeep-soft-roll-up-tonneau-cover-install-on-2021-gladiator-oveland.45498/#post-820327...
This was one hesitation of getting LED package, but I'm city driver vast majority of the time with street lights.
The options are to stop and clear out the lens, or buy aftermarket heated lights? No heated additions you can add to the OEM lights?
If it's the only one without rails, it's the best on my paper to me. Seemingly is, as I've looked at as many as I can find on the usual sites. Odd, as you'd think they'd copy the simplicity. But I guess they have to fill other niches: inexpensive, lightweight, sealed all the way down, etc.
Is the Mopar soft rollup the only rollup style tonneau that doesn't add rails to the top of the bed sides?
I know trifolds don't, but haven't seen any rollups that don't other than Mopar. I've had good experience with trifolds, but would like to go with one that gives full bed access without...
Yeah, I understand some of the combos are like that. I can appreciate those, and even tolerate some of the money grabs (ex. get dual top, have to get a tonneau).
It's just not making sense with the combos I'm unable to get on a Mojave currently. I can't get dual top and camera, but a rubicon...
Verified that Rock-Trac (selec-trac for rubis) is available to order on the Rubicon. Which means it's specifically the Mojave (or maybe other models) that for some reason has Selec-trac unavailable to order.
Shortage, and they're limiting buyers by preventing a specific trim from having it...
Tell me about it, preaching to the choir here, it is bs. I've seen the rollup on hard top Mojaves and others on the lot.
I've talked to dealers and watched some options gray-out on the dealer screen in person. Select dual top, and then camera, rollup and many other options gray-out. I didn't...
I wondered if trim might play a role as well, but have already decided Mojave and need to order soon. Too indecisive to go changing thoughts now. Unless Selec-Trac were available, then I might consider.
That just makes it more lunacy that Rubicon can get camera and dual top. I see you got...
That's impressive, but I'll have to stick around the forums for a second opinion.
Chatgpt told me a JT hardtop weighs between 150-200lbs, and a soft top 35-50lbs.
Besides forum posts suggesting otherwise, shipping weight from Quadratec puts them at 85lbs and 124lbs respectively.
Check out this post, as well as some of the other posts in that thread. Looks like 2020 covers used the bottom hole, and later use the top hex hole. Check your truck and see if the holes are different or have rivnuts in them...
Front camera is available after all, it becomes unavailable if Dual Top group is selected.
Rollup tonneau is also not compatible with Dual Top, and can only be ordered with soft top. Don't ask why, I know I've seen it on the lot with hard tops.
Selec-Trac is unavailable outright at the moment...
Stupid question, but do you need data signal in order to use wifi on your phone/tablet? Meaning, would it work if you were out in the desert with no phone reception?
Do you find the guidelines are accurate to your tire line?
I'm unable to order with trailcam as it's unavailable at this time...
Trying to order a Gladiator Mojave and Selec-Trac and Front Camera are not currently available. They're still on the Jeep.com build site, but apparently at least Selec-Trac hasn't been available for a while now. Not sure if other visible items can't be ordered, but heads up to anyone else...
