You know, I thought about preemptively mentioning some smart ass impossibilities or "Rubicon superiority"... but I'm already too wordy and wanted the fun comments too.
I've been spending weeks reading to decide on a Gladiator purchase, but sometimes you just want to converse. Leaning towards a Mojave left stock or put on 35s to slightly raise and fill it out a bit more. Other options are to lift/re-wheel/35s a max tow or Overland, but this is mostly a Mojave...
Planning on getting my first off-road vehicle, Gladiator naturally, and wondering where everyone in the Michigan area likes to wheel or overland? Something to make it all worth it and not just a concrete daily driver.
I'd like to take some nice trips out west, but weekly/monthly needs to be...
I guess by resale, I mean stock vs. add-ons and labor. You don't get back labor cost (I've no garage, no driveway, limited tools), and upgrades aren't part of kbb. Find the right buyer, but in general do aftermarket upgrades have greater depreciation than factory, is the thought process.
But...
I know, I'm moreso considering options to justify the mojave (which isn't too hard at times). I'll take a mojave stock, even better with 35s, and possibly eventually with a lift. However, I can't accept a Sport S stock. It just doesn't look right so needs a lift/wheel/tire upgrade.
So I'm...
I thought it was as I read better cooling was part of the package, which made me think there must be 3 fan possibilities. Standard, Mojave, Tow. However, this Motortrend article says it comes standard with the "Max Tow" cooling package, so corrected me into there only being 2 fans: Mojave vs...
Fine, but you're covering my first payment.
I do want the bedliner, and was also checking into aftermarket on that. Near same price, with some saying thicker and more coverage. Haven't looked that much yet though.
You mean the interior outlet? I believe that comes with the 8.4" radio package. I'll be getting that, or standard with my likely to get Mojave.
For electronics, I mostly do want to get everything OEM. So it's a shame they shoe horned bed outlet into a package I don't care about, or can get...
What an informational ride this thread was and glad it worked out for you!
Came in here trying to see what I need to test drive to compare a lifted max tow or Overland to a Mojave (since you don't really find lifts on the lot). Still don't know that, but does add more truth to what it takes to...
Thank you both. I might like the rails at some point, but I'm already forced into various packages (can't have A without getting unrelated B), and would rather get some later to save or first get a better idea of what I need and options available. Though I'll miss it when I need it as my current...
Are you saying the bed outlet that comes with the Trail Rail Management System wouldn't even be appropriate for fridge and other power needs?
I'd rather not add another $1.1k to my build and the bed outlet is the only thing I even want in that package. I will be getting Aux switches if that...
Thanks. It'll be new, special ordered, and likely 5 year term. Unless I find a great lot deal without sacrificing some of the must haves I talked myself into as some aftermarket options would be less ideal.
Thank you. I expect to be ordering with one of the X% under invoice dealers found on...
Thank you. I'll be emailing soon enough to see about getting this train going. Still hammering down my choices and research. I read the fine print and it says "... order OR take delivery by 4/19."
I paid cash for my last truck 17 years ago, and still driving it into the ground, so I'm a loan virgin.
Other than just going with the dealer or my bank, is there a good way to see who has the best loan rates?
Specifically without having a bunch of places pulling my credit and lowering my...
