I want to see this motor pick up a lot of real world mileage and get some kind of idea about how it holds up, and if it is junk, or not. Then I would think about a swap…if someone made a kit. I would take a Hemi too, or an LS…I don’t really care, when the time comes, if I can afford it…

I can’t help but weigh in on one thing here…I don’t know who is going to pay for UBI, but we are too far in debt, as a country, to be able to afford that… As far as tariffs go, they will raise prices. It doesn’t mean that they can’t be a successful part of a larger plan, but prices will go...

Does anyone know what this front bumper is? Is it welded on, or is it a bolt on. I am wondering why it seems to be left on what was a vehicle that seems to otherwise have been returned to stock…

I had to change wheels to run the Apex disconnects with my tires. I think if you change the wheels, you will be OK in this regard. Whether the axles hold up to 40s otherwise, or not, I cannot say.

I will agree that it is way over-priced. Everything thing is now though, but Stellantis has taken things to extremes with Jeep. However, I daily drive mine now… I have for several months. I sold my car because o preferred the jeep. Except for mpg, I think it’s a wonderful daily driver.

I crossed shopped the ZR2 Colorado. It was the only thing I considered besides my Gladiators. Their transmission issues scared me off, that and the fact I have always been a jeep guy. If I didn’t have the gladiator, I would have a ZR2. Nonetheless, I still prefer the simplicity of a solid axle.

I am reasonably excited by this…if they don’t get rid of the solid front axle.
