  1. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Added some NFAB Podium nerf steps. Fit a little tighter to the body that I wanted, but they are nice and solid, with plenty of beef to them so that they don't look undersized. Feel like even if I bashed them around a little on some trails that they'd hold up ok. pretty happy with them.
  2. Anyone running the JKS 3.5 inch lift kit.

I haven't had any issues with the stock shaft....nor have I heard or read about anyone having issues with it. JKS doesn't mention it on their website at all. My thought is that with the 2 piece rear shaft there is a bit more play, & that even if you had binding issues that we'd be able to...
  3. Anyone running the JKS 3.5 inch lift kit.

    Yeah. That’s a great price! I paid $1300 for my 5.
  4. Anyone running the JKS 3.5 inch lift kit.

Should’ve noticed them in your pic. I almost went with those, but I got a good deal on the Grabbers at the time. Those look really nice. Can’t wait to see yours once lifted!
  5. Anyone running the JKS 3.5 inch lift kit.

Very familiar indeed. Same step bars and even antennae. You won’t regret the JKS kit. I’ve loved it so far. Just as an FYI, I’m running the General Grabber ATX and really like how they’ve handled everything so far, just in case you haven’t settled on a tire yet.
  6. Anyone running the JKS 3.5 inch lift kit.

I think the control arms are a good option if you have the extra bit of cash to spend. Attached a couple of shots from today. Seems to me that the gap is just right for around a 35” tire and plenty of flex space.
  7. Clunk/ pop from suspension, is it drag link?

Steering wheel is all centered up and I don’t get any bump steer, death wobble or other vibration at all. It’s just the noise from that area and that’s the only item that I see or feel is loose/ making noise.
  8. Clunk/ pop from suspension, is it drag link?

That's going to be my plan for tomorrow morning.
  9. Clunk/ pop from suspension, is it drag link?

Ran across this page on the JL forum, and this is exactly the type of issue that I've noticed. Some play that shows when you grab ahold of it, and a popping during different vehicle movements. Sounds like a lot of guys run into this. To me, it seems like its probably fine with a stock Jeep as...
  10. Clunk/ pop from suspension, is it drag link?

Maybe I should rephrase...it's not exactly a down/up movement in the direct vertical. The joint at the knuckle has play that allows the pin of the link to move in a pivoting forward/back direction which in turn swings the majority of the drag bar up or down. I was assuming that it's still just...
  11. Clunk/ pop from suspension, is it drag link?

Hi all, I know that I'll get some of the responses of " we can't trouble shoot what we can't see or hear" but figured I'd pose the question anyway. I've had the 3.5" JKS lift added recently and a few days later I started noticing a clunk or pop noise intermittently. Seems like it happens more...
  12. 3D Model of Jeep Gladiator

I have a very high quality FARO scanner that I could use and send you the file of my Sport trim if you are still in need of a 3D model. May take a while to get it to you though due to crazy work hours right now.
  13. Anyone running the JKS 3.5 inch lift kit.

I just put a 3’level along the bottom edge of the body and along the frame rail. It’s dead on level. Maybe the bumper and winch will drop the front a little, but if it was me I may just try it first and see how far it really changes it.
  14. Anyone running the JKS 3.5 inch lift kit.

I have a base Sport with Max Tow package and just got the JKS 3.5” lift installed the other day. Purchased the Fox shock option and the JKS j-flex arms. Rides great and sits really nice. Had the shop throw on some 315/70-17 General Grabber ATX tires with it and I couldn’t be happier all around.
  15. Sport vs Sport S

It's not that they are hard to make in different rates, I'm just thinking about possible costs in tooling/ manufacturing and how that may be what the engineers would be driven to make only a couple of spring rates instead of one for every configuration of trim model. (edit...Jeep has a ton of...
  16. Sport vs Sport S

You’re right.... I didn’t see the difference there. I wonder what the difference really is? My guess would be a slightly softer shock on the S setup. Springs are more difficult to make in different rates and if Jeep was looking to keep as many parts the same across the model the easiest way to...
  17. 1000 cash allowance offer on new Gladiator

I purchased a Base model Sport. There should’ve been no restrictions. The only other rebate that it let me use was for a class action lawsuit that was due to transmission issues on our previous Cherokee.
  18. 1000 cash allowance offer on new Gladiator

I went in to pick my Jeep up and was told that since I had an EP number that it wasn’t letting them apply the rebate. I had the mailer with me and nowhere that I read on it or on Jeeps website said that it shouldn’t have been applicable. I checked for myself on the salesman’s computer and sure...
  19. Sport vs Sport S

I own a Base Sport with Max Tow. Mechanically, the Sport and Sport S are identical. The differences come when you start looking at amenities. Base model Sports have manual locks & windows and the base 5” radio etc. while Sport S upgrades to power windows and locks with a button key fob. You...
  20. Stuck in Inspection "I" status

Ordered my Base Sport on 9/18 and it was built about a month later. But it's been over 2 weeks and it's still showing up as "I" status. Did anyone else have this happen, and what sort of timeline can I expect until I get it in at the dealer. Not really needing it for my commute or anything...
