Sorry you took my hashtag as negative...wasn't my intent. I don't have time for drama/Mickey Mouse games trust me.
Seriously, have a good one fellow Jeeper!
I like that idea. What's crazy is this is SUCH a popular cover...I would think more would come out with rack solutions (bracketing) that would work with it.
So is the Voodoo rack (with tonneau brackets) the only rack option to marry with the DB? I refuse to drill into my DB so that's out of the question.
I like how the Voodoo brackets slip under and have the mounts on the outside so it doesn't impede on the DB lid. Does anyone run this setup? I've...
They have sticky tape on one side to keep them in place. To do it properly, I'd want to remove them. I plan to wait until the Spring to get this done. If anything...if the bed cap plastic is truly crushed and unable to come back to form...I might just buy the replacements...just sucks that...
I got my shim kit today...and DB actually has an official Gladiator install sheet now which is cool. But, they should have someone proof their docs since it says: "BED RAIL CAP SHIMS" on '17-up Jeep Gladiator!!! LOL
Comes with 8 shims...need to pop off rail caps...then affix these on (3 per...
Pissed off now...apparently my Sport S doesn't HAVE a Sport S front plastic bumper. Since I tried to install the LED fogs I just bought and my bumper halogens have the 4 bolt pattern and NOT the 3 bolt pattern that I ordered.
So...looking at my window sticker, I'm now assuming: "Premium Front...

I ended up getting paint, clear, and labor for $125. I just got a few estimates around...
Bought the grill and the 3 trim pieces. Found a local paint shop to paint them for me for a great price. I have the mounting hardware (pins/trees and clips...and even new foam pads) so I’m all set. I’m getting the trim back from the paint shop next Tuesday. I can post pics then.
ps...I bought...
I need to put this to bed ASAP...since I've been hearing multiple things.
MY JT (Sport S) came with the plastic bumper and halogen fogs...I bought LED fogs that I plan to swap (with the correct brackets and Tazer config)...is the WIRING the same between the halogens and LEDs?
I wasn't seeing a...
I can try and take a photo tomorrow, but I see it often where people have this issue...but yes, it's the plastic covers for the rails on the top sides that get crushed in the middle. When you take the cover off it looks deformed.
Update...they're sending me shims. I asked about the crushed rails...saying: "my truck is basically brand new"!!!...their reply: "It's most likely just the bed rail caps" *shrugs*
In other words...well...you fill in the blanks
This is EXACTLY what happened to me. When you mean "on a list for a repair kit"...what do you mean? Did you contact DB? Did you buy some replacement parts?
I contacted DB and they want me to send them my serial #...doing that now. I'll let you know.
Did you just remove the caps, then stick right to the metal and replace the cap? Sucks this happened. Was the metal fine underneath though?
Can't believe Diamondback didn't help more than just saying no.
Is it just me or do the Diamondback hard bed cover clamps crush the sides of the bed rails? Every picture I’ve seen on here and in YouTube videos I see it. I mean the obvious is, don’t crank down on the bolts so much...but I’m seeing it everywhere.
I haven’t had a chance to look under the...
I wanted OEM...I can't tell you how happy I am with them. I bought new for everything except the DRLs...bought a used pair (with wiring harnesses) from a forum member. Fun install...then enabled with my Taser Mini...and they work perfectly. Night and day difference!
