Glad that you got it resolved and that the dealership owner did something about it.
shame on @JeepCares for their lack of help. No way you should gone through this amount of pain to get a warranty fix (and honestly what should be a recall).
we are searching for our replacement family vehicle...
Quadratec used to be decent, they used to have forum discounts and no sales tax. Then (and maybe not fully their fault) but sales tax was charged and they would not budge on that, getting their forum discounts became more difficult with longer wait times via pm's etc and boom a bit later the...
AEV Mojave 2" spacer kit and geo brackets installed today. I let a local shop install them. My front end was very heavy from the mopar metal bumper and warn winch, so this got the front up again, the rear is obviously higher.
Drove great driving home, will do measurement tmrw to follow up from...
Install of AEV 2" Mojave spacer kit and geo brackets (I let the professionals do this for me)
I'll do some measurements tmrw to see what the actual change was, my front end was very heavy from the Mopar metal bumper + Warn winch.
When my stock tires wear out, I'll switch to 35"s then.
No shame in bringing it to a shop to install. As mentioned not everyone has the space or time to do an install, also they may have physical limitations.
I do a lot of work on my vehicles at home when I get time, but I know my limitations also. I've actually a scheduled appointment for the AEV...
I've been using faraday bags for a number of years, keys when at home are always stored in them, also have a bag that goes with me on road-trips.
"Mission darkness" is one brand that sold on amazon.
I had a JK Wrangler before, was a very useful vehicle for my needs. However I traded it in for my Mojave JT - loved the trim level, factory suspension, and truck bed. Handled a lot nicer on the street.
considerations, I don't regret buying it - but a wrangler does have its advantages - its much...
I'm curious how people how live in the PacNW are with their RTT's ? This year has been an especially wet and cold year, I'm not sure when we would get a dry day to get a RTT really dry. Would be parked outside mostly.
Installed the Mopar "cold" air kit. (Not cutting the hood and installing the flap). Not expecting much, the pipe from the air box to the throttle body is a lot larger, high flow filter and the air box cover is also different.
Also oil change and wheel rotation.
