Well, I tried to buy some Halos but the web site wouldn't give me the discount! What a bummer, advertise 30% off and then won't honor the code! So save me $200...
Disappointed?
Not me!
I bought my 2020 Overland with 114,000 miles in October, now have just over 120,000. Problems? None.
I did pull the aux battery, now lives in a friends Harley. I did install a TazerMini and no longer have Start/Stop issues but without the aux battery, I get the...
At 82, I just put new shocks on. Yes, a couple of days of residual pain but now I'm good. But not going to do any lifts. I am/was a fair mechanic but don't know about lifts. I would like to 'level' my 2020 Overland but no idea how. I did install a Badlands 1200 with rubber bumper and it...
So...
I did the delete through the fender well, not bad. Battery is out and in storage (one of my bikes might need it someday..)
So now when I drive it daily, it reads 14.4 volts and maybe going down to 13.9 if a long drive. So I did not drive it yesterday (short drive, 14.4 V showing then)...
Well, maybe....but there was no issues with either battery prior to removing the aux battery. I did it because I could and I did not like the idea of a 'hidden' battery that could go bad some day. The main battery has been fine and continued to act fine today. No other indications of a...
This reply is a bit off of the post but....I deleted the Mopar Aux battery and pulled the fuse 42. But I still get the Stop/Start failure warning and the '(A)! light. Is the 'fix' immediate or does it take some time?
I simply got a mount for the left rear door glass and mounted a 1/4 wave 'whip' there. Works fine for all repeaters in the area and NO ground plane needed. The radio is under the driver seat and the mike has all the visual things (though pretty small and a little hard to see...)
I just got a set of Blstiens for my Overland and the fronts are wrong! My jeep has a bolt through the top, kinda like the rear. The ones they sent are the 'standard' type with room for two rubber bumpers and washers. So though I can't help you with your problem, I have my own...
OK, I found the correct 'tab' to be depressed. It is not obvious to me but after many tries, I finally found it. Thanks to those who tried to help but the 2020 is definitely different than the 2024.
OK, I've searched and found not what I need:
the connector for the 'factory' fog lights in the stock JT bumper; how does it disconnect? I cut it off to get the bumper off, going back on now but would like to unplug it first. I see what looks like a tab to release but it doesn't seem to do...
My 2020 Overland had 114,000 on it when I bought it. It is so clean everyone thinks it is new! And it runs like it is new. The PO used it on highways only and put on the miles without any damage. It is loaded with leather, cold weather, matching paint top and bottom. I've added a couple...
Use whatever gas you want....good old regular works great for me, has for years in many vehicles with no problems. YMMV. I've had several Jeeps over the last many years, the Gladiator is for me the best. I have kept it stock (as it came to me with 114,000 miles) except for the few little...
One quick question, oddly enough:
what is the size of the nuts on the eight bolts that hold on the stock plastic bumper? I have an 18 and a 22mm, one is too little, one too big. I'm going to buy a socket but would like to know which to get first.
I'm new to tire sizes for the Gladiator...mine came with 275/65/18 BF Goodrich K02 and measure 30" from ground to top of tire. They are pretty flush with the fenders. My 4'10" wife can just barely lift herself into the cab so I'm not going to try to lift it.
