  1. Clayton 2.5” Rake

In combo with Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks, it rides and drives great! Just did first outing yesterday...
  2. Clayton 2.5” Rake

    35" on 17" rims
  3. Clayton 2.5” Rake

I just finished install of Clayton 2.5" premium kit. Not much rake at all, even with steel (factory) bumper with 10k Warn installed. I was concerned that rake would be problem, but am VERY happy with outcome. Here are some pics...
  4. Teraflex 2.5” Alpine RT Suspension System feedback / reviews?

Yes, I think the 3.5 would look too big unless I went with 37s or larger. Then I would be in for regear etc. The wheel offset came out exactly where I wanted…just outside fender, about 2ā€.
  5. Teraflex 2.5” Alpine RT Suspension System feedback / reviews?

Ok. Took more photos using lower resolution settings. Here they are…
  6. Teraflex 2.5” Alpine RT Suspension System feedback / reviews?

Still won’t let me upload photo. Says ā€œsomething went wrong. Try again or contact admin.ā€ If you are comfortable doing so , send me your email and I will send you pix direct. Unless that is against the rules? Jay? I am not sure!
  7. Teraflex 2.5” Alpine RT Suspension System feedback / reviews?

I struggled between the 2.5 and 3.5 too. Clayton's builds are a bit under rated as far as size...the 2.5 with 35's mesured about 4" inches taller than stock! Trying to post photos, but keep getting "file too large" message.
  8. Teraflex 2.5” Alpine RT Suspension System feedback / reviews?

Finished lift/tire combo... 2.5" Clayton premium lift, Falkon 35" tires on 17" Method wheels w/-12mm offset, Falcon 3.2 fully adjustable shocks. Very happy with how it came out! Still toying with tire pressure/shock setting for optimum ride, but so much better than stock!!
  9. Teraflex 2.5” Alpine RT Suspension System feedback / reviews?

Yah, I do some more serious off road stuff but not a ā€œcrawlerā€ kind of guy. Mostly back country 4x stuff. Probably spend more time on pavement, but like the look and the option for tougher terrain if necessary. Let me know how the stockers work out for you. I am curious to know as I am giving my...
  10. Teraflex 2.5” Alpine RT Suspension System feedback / reviews?

No. Pretty disappointed that I got zero response! So I did a TON of research and questioned several manufacturers with regard to retaining the use of my stock wheels. The general consensus was that unless I used wheel spacers (which I am not a fan of) I would be stuck with having to purchase...
  11. Old School Jeeps

Not sure why these posted twice! Sorry!
  12. Old School Jeeps

My profile pic shows one of my oldies, a ā€˜42 MB ā€œSlat grillā€. It is original, with documented full military history. Matching Bantam trailer. I have 2 other military Jeeps, including a rare ā€˜76 MUTT (not really a ā€Jeepā€ as it was early AmGen production), and a ā€˜58 M138A1. Guess you could say I...
  13. Teraflex 2.5” Alpine RT Suspension System feedback / reviews?

I am looking at the Teraflex 2.5ā€ Alpine RT2 Suspension system for my 2021 Gladiator Rubicon, and wondering if anyone has info (good, bad, or otherwise) regarding this kit. Seems like it has everything I need, but wondering about wheel offset (will my stock Rubicon 17ā€ wheel work without...
  14. Question regarding brown leather seat option for Rubicon trims

My 2021 has the tan seats, with off white stitching on them as well as the steering wheel and console. It has silver trim inserts instead of red. I also have to wonder why Jeep kept the console and steering wheel black. I am thinking about having them recovered to match the seats at a local...
  15. The Philistine thread - non-lifted Gladiators and not likely to be, either

I have a 2021 JT Rubicon. Have had it about a month. Absolutely love it! I have been considering a lift, maybe 2" or 2.5", but I am not sure I need or want it. It came with the upgraded 17s with 33" tires. I may go to a bigger tire, say 35" when these are worn out, but am very happy with the...
