  4. Coverking Topliner - Review & Install

Ditto’s on your install ? I went with Kilmat 80mil from eBay, didn’t get extra adhesive, just cut up what was provided. You can go full coverage with the Sound Deadening, leaving a opening for XM/SatCom. Made a huge difference in sound/Quiet. more info available>>The Overcon……
  5. Cover King vs Hot Heads for heat and noise

It is somewhat rigid/form fitted and with the trim on the edges, don’t think it will sag.
  6. Cover King vs Hot Heads for heat and noise

Wood roller and trim tools worked best to smooth out the Kilmat.
  7. Cover King vs Hot Heads for heat and noise

80 mil on the Kilmat, not hard to work with, learned from the Freedom Panels that strips are easier than ā€˜sheets’ on the uneven surface. And a bit of a gap is better than an overlap. Did not want a bump on the CK headliner. Thanks.
  8. Cover King vs Hot Heads for heat and noise

Went with Coverking for coverage, looks great and covered all the ā€˜white’. Cosmetic cover, won’t do much for sound or temperature without some sound deadening. 12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Same, except for the edges, wanted to attach the Coverking to the Panels and they are multilayered on the Outside edges. You can cover it all, I went with: better to have a small gap, than to overlap, didn’t want a bump in the Headliner. Don’t cover the XM/SatCell Com on the roll bar. Might...
  13. The Overcon

Had the Top back on for a week + now and the Kilmat is amazing! Had to adjust the Eq base down, it was vibrating the rear view and windows? Sound is great, clear and much better at lower levels. Quiet and the Coverking covers all the White and looks great! Really happy with the outcome, well...

  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Just got the back hatch back on, Panel’s previously done are Great?K 80mil Kilmat is what I used, cut into strips -easer to to work with (hard to get into corners). Material is good, fits well but it is cosmetic, would make little difference in sound without the Kilmat. Happy with both...
