  1. What brand of torque wrenches do you all like?

Calibrated(not certified) Snap-On and rebuilt Proto for shop work. Calibrated(not certified) Harbor freight for trail, I won't like losing it, but I can afford to replace it. I get the snaps from the cal shop and keep with wrenches. No need for certification, but its nice to know the accuracy...
  2. Locking hood

I suppose someone could purchase supplementary insurance, I hear the brothers Smith and Wesson, or thier cousin Ruger sell a good policy.
  3. Locking hood

I don't believe they make a lock compatible with the trail cam, or I'd have installed one already.
  4. What can you do with the Mojave?

Quit underestimating the machine. I use 4H because I like the extra control, not because I've needed it, the few times I've used 4L was for speed control. The machine will make a washboard road smoother than the freeway, but understand the stock shocks aren't designed to go slow to be effective...

Sorry, I've issues with Amazon. They basically threatened my job, don't see a need to support them

  10. Dealership Service Questionable?

Warranty for battery, they changed both batteries, dates on replacement battery price that. Two weeks ago, AZ heat has one again killed the cheap battery supplied. Parts guy tells me, warranty only good for first battery set as second ones are replacements. I'm the second person to remove...
  11. Axle Locker Sensor Issue - Repair Kit Fix Released for JT / JL!

I was told they are different strength sensors. Start with #1 and see if the light goes out, if not, seqentially change the sensor till the light goes out. Mine used #1, still have the other 4.
  12. Glad dead, the RHF Hub the culprit.

It's very hard to pull parts of airplanes without It's very hard to legally stop parts from an airplane. In production, the parts are assigned to a specific tail. In service, it's all about traceability. Unlike the automotive world, even scrapped airplanes used for parts need traceability to...
  13. Is manual better than 8 speed auto?

The flash is set up to remove power when the clutch slips. As I don't do burnouts and abuse mine in that manner, the only time I should need that is when I'm stuck and need to use the advantages of slipping a clutch. That option of self recovery is now limited.
  14. Is manual better than 8 speed auto?

I have tried to get the unwanted, never requested flash reversed. Service just says they can't. Anything I ever do software updates on can be taken back to previous version. Dealers don't want the liability. Flash was done without my knowledge or permission.
  15. Is manual better than 8 speed auto?

Won't fix, it would cost them a redesign. Center Force clutch and regear to a proper ratio. It's been a proper vehicle since that was done. Jeep wants to replace junk with junk for their recall.
  16. Trying to replace my Gorilla Glass on my 20204 Gladiator using Safelite. They are saying it is on back order for 2 months now

It hit at the edge, not sure anything would help that. Just dumb luck it hit that low.
  17. Trying to replace my Gorilla Glass on my 20204 Gladiator using Safelite. They are saying it is on back order for 2 months now

Jinxed myself, caught a rock on the bottom edge under the wiper blade today. Good part is the glass will be waiting when I get home.
  18. Trying to replace my Gorilla Glass on my 20204 Gladiator using Safelite. They are saying it is on back order for 2 months now

Gorilla Glass wasn't an option when I bought mine, after 3 or 4 replacements, opted for Gorilla Glass. I won't say its perfect, but the Arizona rocks have respect for it, tiny nicks, no cracks. I'm pretty sure my insurance is happy to have spent the extra for the upgrade, its been a couple of years.
  19. How to fit a winch solenoid by the battery?

Relays and solenoid are the same, power is the difference. Neither should care about orientation, just correct polarity. They use low power to control a circuit, solenoid typically are high power, where as relays can be used to create logic circuits, normally low powered.
