I'm with you we both bought at the wrong time. My sticker price was $75,000 and like you I got a great deal but still probably paid too much according to what others are saying. Glad I really like my diesel.
I changed my diesel fuel filter yesterday, I think I paid $41.00 for it online dealership wanted $438.00 for the filter and installation. While underneath the jeep I checked for evidence of my oil being changed. (Oil pan and filters etc. ). Once trust is lost its impossible to get back.
Yeah my original mistrust came from a Toyota dealership. Didn't find out till 75,000 miles after expiration that they had not once changed the oil filter on our FJ Cruiser. I changed the oil and you have to drop the shid plate to access the filter and it had never been removed. Pissed off to say...
I probably should but I hate to make people's life harder than it has to be. I'm disappointed and lost my trust. But I definitely have my eyes wide open now.
No it not them. Best of luck with your service dealer. I guess we all need to check on our service and make sure it's getting done as it's supposed to. I also hate the pressure of air filter, wipers, alignment etc.. I can turn them down but have witnessed older persons and unaccompanied females...
