I wish we could get a decent 4 cyl turbo in the gladiator. That is all this truck needs for most applications. Modern turbo 4s are powerful, rich in torque, and fuel efficient. A V8 is total overkill.

If snow on the way to the ski resort is the issue get a sport or overland with the Trac Loc LSD. It will serve you better then a locker.

I had the same rust speckles all over the bed and tailgate of my white JT. It scared me but I clayed them off ant they have not come back. I'm guessing its something in the road salt? Strange thing is I've never noticed them on my other cars.

If it's poping up a little in the back you need to reset the rails on the side by pushing in toward the bed. That solved my issue at least.

Does anyone make a front steel bumper similar to the OEM one. I love that look but can't stomach the price.

For sure a rack mount would be a nice solution. I put mine in the bag and then put a strap across to jeep them in place. Can't wait to take them off again in three months. :(

The ones I saw on the lot did not have selec-trac. They had the same system as all gladiators. I did notice that they had AT tires but the stickers showed that being another $195 option not in the NE package.

It's strange I did a search on autotrader and almost none of the north editions have side steps. Went to my local dealer and there are two, no side steps. :facepalm:

The gearing in the JK vs JT is totally different. While the JTs transmission and linkage is clearly better the JK had better gear ratios which would've been nice on the JT. FCA was clearly going for MPG with the JT wide gearing and two overdrives. This would be ok with a torque rich engine...

Correct my math was off. From my autotrader search it does appear that the sidesteps are not included on most North Editions. Is anyone able to tell what the special instrument bezels are?

It's about $325 cheaper, comes with special instrument grills, and the recovery stuff.

Yes but with most cars with a proximity key the trunk/tailgate will unlock when you touch the handle. This is not the case with the JT system. There is no sensor at the tailgate negating the purpose of the system.

Nope. There is no sensor in the tailgate. It will unlock the tailgate when you grab either front door handle.

It's a big miss by Jeep, for me the keyless entry is pretty much useless for this reason.

No LED headlights for the sport(s). Also can't get soft touch doors and dash, rear USB, jeyles entry, and factory leather. Also lsd not available on manual sport but is available on overland spor . No AT tires for overland 18 inch wheels from the factory.
