Anyone have some pics of the AEV Borah in spent brass (besides AEV's website pics)? Please include if they are the +24 or +4 offset. Extra points for showing the Spent Brass on Sting Gray! Thanks in advance!
I just installed an X4 and te roll top is a tight fit between the right and left tracks - like not even 1/16" between the aluminum track and the plastic segments that lay down in the tracks. It seems like too tight a fit to be able to install the tonneau adapters under a rack. Can you describe...
Just ordered my Aero crossbar set with the RLT Feet for the t slot (59 inches). Did you go with the Pioneer platform rack 52 long by 56 wide? Also, the crossbars are rated for 220 lbs. Has anybody been using this for a roof top tent?
So is yours 60 long by 56 wide? I could only find the 58...
Thanks for the great info about your success with the X4 and the Rhino Rack parts! I just installed my X4 and am looking hard at using the Rhino Rack parts. What size Pioneer Rack did you buy and what is the name or part number for the parts that you were waiting for that allowed you to lower...
Can the crossbars be loosened and then slid all the way forward to get about 75% of the bed available? I'm guessing that you would have to make something up to secure the X4 to the crossbar.
There is a guy named What Exit who was able to source parts for a DIY rack build. I am pretty sure that the height of the racks and the width of the brackets would allow the X4 to open under it. But it would not make use of the tslots. Looks like there would be a total of 4 brackets (2 per...
Hey Greenman and ESTOJTR,
In case no one's asked yet, could you please post some pics of the Bakflip X4 in the open position along with some shots of how they attach (with Trail rail and without). Also, let us know if you decide to add a mid height bed rack and any adjustments that you may...
Sorry Dan, I've been looking at too many threads trying to find a diy bed rack that was compatible with the Revolver X4. Your project is one of my favorites and looks to adaptable to my needs. My JTR didn't come with the Mopar rolling tonneau.
One of your pictures makes the factory tonneau...
It seems like you started this build before you decided which tonneau to go with. I know that you ended up with the Mopar soft rolling tonneau, but did you ever research whether or not the Bakflip Revolver X4 would fit? Seems like the track for the X4 would intrude mostly into the bed and would...
I've been thinking about the Kendra Klevers in a 35x10.50x17 for the size. I like everything else about the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Good to hear about the 35x12.5 working out so well with the stock Rubicon wheels.
On the Rubicon with its 4:11 rear end ratio, is it pretty much always the case...
Okay, this is pretty low tech, but it works to transport my Costco kayaks a short distance. We kayak in salt water so I am trying to keep the mess in the bed (which has a sprayed in liner) and off the paint.
Looks like this gets 'er done! I've got a couple of Costco kayaks that I need to haul for short distances - this solution has inspired me as I just got my JT and was not ready to commit to a rack system yet.
I'm also following this thread and found this on the Nitto site. I guess the oem Rubicon wheels are 7.5, so this tire size is still not approved for the stock wheels, but it's closer! Anyone install the 315/70R17 Ridge grapplers?
