Sounds like you wanted a Rubicon. It's essentially a small Power Wagon honestly. I thought of a PW before my Gladiator. I didn't need a Heavy Duty truck though. Also thought about a Rebel but landed on the gladiator instead.

That is a typo my friend. Sorry for that. The bed between the wheel wells is 44 inches. Our mattress was 40 inches wide. I am pretty sure that's what I was thinking of when typing.

Good eye we were at Frisco. I will definitely take note as wife and I definitely plan in going back. We wanted to take the ferry to Ocracoke but we didn't have enough time today to get back home at a reasonable time and get ready for work.

For anyone who doesn't have a roof top tent yet like us. We found an air mattress bigger than twin at 44 inches wide and 80 inches long with a tent of similar size and we had no issues sleeping in the bed.
