I guess the appropriate answer is, like for most things in life, is 'It depends.' For my vehicle purchase I did my research, knew exactly what I wanted and what I was comfortable paying, and executed a transaction with one of the discount volume dealers on here. It will take some additional...
I was just informed the car got there today and they immediately reached out to me. I sent them the info they wanted in advance of me picking it up, which leads me to believe they have their stuff together and I won't be there for hours like a typical dealer experience.
They asked for my...
Add realtors to the list of industries that need to be overhauled in the Internet age. When is the last time someone didn't go to their realtor, if they used one, with a list of houses they wanted to see that they found themselves from searching the internet? The days of going to a realtor and...
I never understood people that waited years for a Bronco release, spec'd out their 55k+ dream car, then settled for a 45k lower trim model with the base engine just to get it a few months earlier.
And then the dealership tells me it's not on their lot. Sigh...
They said it shows up as delivered on Dealer Connect, whatever internal system that is. I guess that's a sign it's about to be delivered, hopefully.
I believe for the Overland they were 3k in August and only 1k this month. I'll ask my dealer about it. I did get some good news from Jeep Chat today...
Cheryl
Congratulations Greg, your 2021 Jeep gladiator has been delivered to the Dealers, 09/22/2021. Please reach out to your selling dealer...
If you want that particular truck that bad, then fine, but I'd order from one of the several discount dealers on here and get 6-8% under invoice and get exactly what you want.
Yeah, I agree. I'm trying to coordinate logistics for pick up, tire delivery and installation, etc. If this keeps up the Bronco I originally had on order may beat it to the lot!
Yeah, Jeep Chat just gave me an updated shipping window between now and 10/1. It was 9/17-9/23 last week.
Well, maybe the October incentives will be higher for a 2021 MY truck.
I ordered from Chapman, about a two hour drive from me. I’ve heard others say Koons is offering decent deals as well.
These forums are the bane of a shady dealer’s existence. Knowledge is power.
I’ve bought a few cars at Tate (prior to the forum dealer discount days). Also bought a Chrysler 300 from Heritage in Parkville back in the day. One place I’ve never bought from, even though they are about 4 miles from my house, is Adams in Annapolis. They’ve never been close on pricing and more...
If I hadn't jumped on the Popular equipment package that included leather seats, I would have definitely gone the Katzkin route and jazzed things up a bit instead of the usual boring, manufacturer stuff.
Yeah, really looks like the Sport and Sport S orders got screwed. Maybe there is a calculus to how they build based upon which parts are currently available, or maybe it is a conscious decision by Jeep to get the higher profit trim models out first. Who knows
They've upped the price to $195. They nickel and dimed a lot of their uptions up $50-100 from the time I placed my order a month ago to getting my window sticker yesterday.
Hey Sarge, love the look with the new shoes! My JTO should be home within the next week or so. Definitely going with 295/70/18s to beef it up a bit.
Have you added any suspension components to yours yet? I'm thinking maybe a 1.5" Teraflex leveling kit to take care of the rake, but not really...
