    I used a tapered burr on a dremel tool to get down to the start of the threads and then used a thread chaser for clean up.

    Be warned... It used the ABS system to regulate speed. It sounds like your gear train is coming apart when you activate it until the vehicle slows down to the speed it wants to see. I was playing in my yard in 4WD when I hit the button and thought I'd broken something. I had to do a search here...

    The only way to tell is to go looking for the wiring. They might have had the truck wired and ready for the parts, when they didn't show up I doubt they would have cut the wiring and connectors out.

    Jeep sold you a defective bed, text @JeepCares and tell them you need a new one. ??? Those rails should be the same, lay them back to back and see if the holes line up.

    I had a GM crossover eat my lunch one time that turned out to be the sway bar * bushings*. This little turd had tsb’s for rattles on literally everything. I removed and replaced stuff, swapped parts off of other cars, bounced through pot holes in a friend’s shop’s parking lot with everyone...

    Pull your sway bar links loose and wire them up out of the way. See if the noise goes away.

    They work together perfectly!I like this cover! I ran my Jeep through the carwash after I had the cover installed and the only water that got inside was a few drops from between the lid and tailgate when I opened it.

    They were running a 3.5" lift with stock 2" lift shocks, could have buggered the shocks.

    Check the socket you were using. It might have cracked and spread and that let it strip the bolt head. You wouldn’t want it to ruin another bolt in the future.
