  5. 3.0 Willys buy or not-advice

@FDA44 your use case is the same as mine. I live 2.5 miles from work so 5 miles round trip. Occasional 60 mile trips on the weekends. I've had no issues with my Ecodiesel and sitting at 11k miles. Haven't done the pump recall and changing the oil and fuel filter every 5k. I'm on a 2.5" lift and...

  7. Lease pricing tonight at my local Dealer (Diesel Rubicon at $49k).

Bad deal. After lease, if you decide to keep it the total cost would be almost $67k. If you return it, your out $32k after 3yrs. Try to negotiate a lower money factor or higher residual or both. Good luck
  8. Fox 2.5 Remote Res and DSC ride quality.

They're great to remove the rear "pogo" as you mention. I run my rears at 1-click in on both low speed and high speed compression and that's enough to eliminate the pogo and plant the rear. I've tried higher settings and it's not needed on my truck. It starts getting stiffer. I run Clayton 2.5"...
  9. Guess what failed on this 3.0L

Another tear down by Eric. It’s crazy how much this engine has on top just to get to the block. Service nightmare, hope mine holds up ??
  10. Is this normal and the way it is meant to be?

Are you referring to the flag? If so, it's correct. The stars are always first in the direction of travel.
  11. Does anyone get this smell? Diesel with fuel additive.

never had a smell with full tank diesel only or a full tank with hotshots added. I agree with @Escape.idiocracy , there shouldn't be a smell in the engine compartment.
  12. Plastic vs Steel OEM Bumper

you've got the plastic bumpers. The steel OEM bumpers are full steel.
  13. ¡Help! I’m in the CA Bay Area and every pump contains over 20% Biomass

Same issue down here in Southern California. All pumps are slowly changing to biodiesel (B20) or renewable diesel (R99). Luckily I found a couple Mobile pumps that are still ol' petrol Diesel #2. I had to drive and find them, I couldn't find info on an app or online to determine what type of...

  16. antifreeze /Coolent

@ShadowsPapa my eyes play tricks on me, lol. Mine pours out purple but in recovery bottle it's pink. I use the Mopar stuff. But like you stated, the important spec. is OAT. Gotta be Organic Additive Technology, nothing else. https://www.amazon.com/Mopar-Year-Mile-Coolant-Premixed/dp/B017DP43ZC
  17. antifreeze /Coolent

Make sure it's the purple stuff, OAT -from the manual
  18. Accident Repair?

Another vote for dealership collision center repair. I had my JK parked out in the street and it got hit in the rear driver wheel by a drunk driver only 3 months into ownership. The hit shifted my rear axle and bent the frame just a tiny bit. I took it to my dealership's collision center and...
  19. Doing my HPFP recall today

@here4theD For B20 fuel, the oil interval is 8K or every 6 months. Fuel filter every oil change.
  20. 23 Mojave $70K MSRP for $52K - Deal?

Over 50 is too high, especially with high interest rates. In Southern California you can get them for $46k
