So, I got the Linex upgraded slick bedliner and it is so much nicer than the regular factory bedliner. It was about $100 more, but you hose it down and it cleans up. Doesn’t tear your pants when you crawl around on it. Only way to go. jc

The stick is much less than the auto, and the Rubicon is more than 4500# with the Auto.... jc

Today, I did the weather striping below my Diamondback SE tonneau, and put the door sill protectors on, and replaced the carpet floor mats with the Mopar dinosaur Jeep floor pads and cut the hole in the carpet to install the drain hole for the floor mats. This scared me until I did it. Easy peasy.

We spent 2-1/2 weeks in Anchorage, Denali, Kenai, Seward, Juneau, and a few other places in August / September and we were well prepped with bug spray wipes, and amazingly we didn’t see a single mosquito. Not sure that is a typical experience, but it was ours.

We rented an RV 2 summers ago and spent 3 nights at Teklanika campground. Which is the furthest you can drive into Denali in your own vehicle without the impossible to get permit. It is a decent campground on a river of the same name. Had a few vault toilets, and probably 30 to 40 campsites...
