I did have to use a wiring diagram for my specific jeep as the one provided by them was incorrect. Maybe that’s the difference?
I can confirm it’s working because I can hear the fan at idle, which I never used to before, and I no longer get over 206°. Whereas before I’d see 230 sometimes. I can...
You want longevity? In my mind opening the vents to allow hot air out after parking it will make the underwood plastics last longer. That’s why I opened mine. I don’t notice any difference in driving/idling temps.
Yes but it’s only 4 bolts on the bottom after removing the skid plate. Rolled the winch forward from the control box and was able to remove and install.
I've got a gasser and noticed no change in driving temps with my aftermarket 2024 grille. I've only had it 48 hours though. I'd get in contact with RPM Extreme and see if their fan controller can work with the diesel.
sprayed it on THICC for chip-resistance is what I'm telling myself.
It's soon to be covered by dirt and dead bugs and that's probably the last time I'll see it that close up and that clean so I'm not worried.
I wonder what the Distinction Applied product looks like that close up.
I put it on for winch clearance, looks, and maybe some help with the cooling. In that order. The RPM fan controller already does a good job keeping it cool. I doubt I’ll see much difference. But 290 sq in of opening compared to 100 sq in has to count for something, right? (My math might be off a...
I haven’t had the chance but I’ll try to do it. From where I’m standing now it looks pretty darn similar. the rivets that run across the top look the same between my stock grille and this new one.
I just remembered why I also went with eBay. Distinction applied charges an extra $100 to match the rubicon grey trim on the grille. eBay seller did not. So for me DA would’ve been $800+
