It's not that much compared to what they would have tied up developing the extended and regular cab models along with the crew.
The crew style is by far the biggest seller of any truck and the most in demand. I think we all agree on that. It targets a broad range of demographics, (pardon my...
Someone needs to poi t out that the whole, "they put a JLU body on the Gladiator frame" is incorrect. They did not in fact put the JLU body on the Gladiator fre, they put what amounts to a modified JLU body on the Gladiator frame. The Gladiator cab is a chopped version of the JLU body. The fact...
As a logical progression I will say that we know the JL has a nice tight turn radius, JLU has a larger one and I can almost guarantee that the JT will have a turn radius close to my current Dakota which is not awful when considering its a truck but its not great either. The JT will have a...
Amen to that.
And just for you Americans to compare your prices to, I'm currently on a 2 gig shared plan and were paying about $100/month in Ontario. Add another $82/month for the phones and Canadian contracts get really expensive really fast. Lol.
That's where the navi is geear because...
I'd say we shouldn't expect anything really modified from this four door platform for about five years. FCA will want to make sure that the first few years aren't just hype selling the model and also make sure they didn't totally mess up the Gladiator in some way.
I'm betting after three years...
There would definitely be some issues if the cap were solidly attached to the cabin of the truck but this could easily be overcome with a gasket or accordion style product covering the gap around the point they meet to provide some flex.
Like any other real trophy, I will be keeping only the windshield and forward. This portion will remain mounted on my wall with the other amazing creatures that reside there. The remaining back section will be given away to an assortment of hungry individuals since I have no need for it. In...
The JL Tazer programmer lets you lock in high I believe. It'll be interesting to see a JT Tazer programmer do that but a factory program would be nice.
I was hoping for a diesel with manual option way back before they released any info on that. Once they thoroughly crushed my dreams of a 6 speed diesel, I figured a 6 speed pentastar will have to do and then maybe put a hemi in when some money is freed up after a few years have been paid.
If anyone is looking at Gator on a phone, make sure you have the "blue light filter" turned off and brightness up. It's still a really greyish green but the blue light filter takes all the green out.
Not a problem for me though, I'm going Hydro Blue or Firecracker Red. :like:
I'm going to guess $44099 as base Rubi msrp. Just a bit more than the JL due to increased material cost. That's USD and in the good ole USA.
Being a Canadian in Ontario, I think we will see it start around the $52000 mark msrp. Since we have that weak dollar and everything costs more here...
