  1. Two Totaled Jeeps

Maybe for 2022, but not on 2021. Although the mirrors do have a plastic molding at the side that appears to have no function.
  2. Where is ShadowsPapa?

You guys have been playing too many video games.
  3. 2021 80th anniversary edition already needs new steering

No such luck, dealer has no information on when axles will be delivered. Might get it back in a month from now. It sits parked at the dealer.
  4. Leaking axle seal?

Well I have been without my Gladiator for 2 weeks now. Stopped by the dealer today and they say they have axle shafts/seal on order and have no indication of when they will ship. This is unacceptable communication from FCA Stellantis. Anyone from JeepCares care to chime in?
  5. 4xe TEST DRIVE

This is the first article of its type that actually puts some sense into why the elite (Bill Gates) say that the planet must reduce population. Vaccine anyone?
  6. 4xe TEST DRIVE

True, there is always some, that is inescapable. While already minimal, it is possible to reduce that through tuning. Point is it is negligible in the grand scheme.
  7. 4xe TEST DRIVE

I agree that cars do - if they have gasoline engine. Diesels do not produce CO2.
  8. Only three pet peeves about my Gladiator Sport

Like I said, the finer points of the system.... reason for the secondary battery and secondary pinion is because for the most part the engine is already warm and there is less resistance to the start. As far as wear goes it is no different in concept than a cam gear running constantly, except...
  9. Only three pet peeves about my Gladiator Sport

The way I understood the system is there are 2 pinions attached to the starter shaft. The one closest to the starter functions as a conventional starter does. There is another pinion that is in constant contact with the ring gear, and it activates when ESS requires it. However, they be other...
  10. 4xe TEST DRIVE

  12. Jeep AND whiskey lovers

There is common misconception about blending whiskies - people are led to believe that single malt is not blended. Wrong. Single malt means liquids that are produced at one distillery, and may be blended with liquid produced within that distillery. To be a pure single, it must be produced and...
  13. Jeep AND whiskey lovers

MacCallan, Lagavulin, Ardbeg, Auchentoshen, The Glenrothes, and Wilson&Morgan are my mainstay whiskies from Scotland. BTW Wilson&Morgan is 64%. Needs a tech of watr.
  14. Diesel Shut Down Buzzing Noise

Mine has the buzzing but is it intermittent and triggered on by a relay that I hear clicking in and out for more that a minute. I used to hear the DEF pump retract on my 2016 RAM, but this is different and the way it cycles leads me to believe it is turbo coolant related. Just my suspicion.
  15. 4xe TEST DRIVE

Look to the Ev’s already out there to see what happens when the systems fail, or, when the batteries need replacement. There is no recycle facilities in NA to currently handle these batteries. Will it happen? For sure. Also, given the Tesla experience with fires, the last vehicle took 23,000...
  16. Oil change surprise

And Sirius guardian gets to track your every move, sell that information, and charge you for it. I don’t mind starting the vehicle myself since I will warm it up for 4-5 minutes before driving the diesel. If it was an issue I would just use the fob to start it and go from there. None of the...
  17. Oil change surprise

Not only that but it makes you sign up for Guardian service as well. No fucking thank you.
  18. 6 X 6 Gladiator!!!!

I would like to know how they got 370 HP out of the diesel V6 Motori.
  19. Funny little switch

Makes me wonder why a phone icon was used for the switch.
  20. Only three pet peeves about my Gladiator Sport

The point we were discussing was adding on device that annoy drivers for minimal savings, and having the pleasure of being taxed for it. I good with doing that as long as, by your logic, every country in the world does the exact same thing. Only then does per capita matter. Right now it doesn’t...
