I got the version without trail rails and they supplied 2 long extrusions that mount up to the M6 holes (they are shiny aluminum but you could paint black) as part of the kit If you have trail rails you need ot remove the one on the headboard

Install was easy - toughest part was re-tapping the M6 tapped holes in the bed sides Latches closed to the the side rails you install, dogs on each side & is lockable. You can open/close the tailgate and keep it locked
