You know what's more helpful? Calling out the people who have no idea what they were talking yet still acted like a dealership being shady was on me. All I did was call out a shady dealership. And people here, who have no idea what MSRP is, attacked me and said I'm in the wrong.
Seriously, you staying in this thread this whole time, telling me I don't know what I'm talking about, and then you confirming you have no idea what MSRP is. That was an early Christmas gift.
Dealerships can be so sneaky
HOW? They Ran a fake sale. that's it. that's it. I a
The base prise is NOT the MSRP. The TOTAL is the MSRP. Thank you for confirming that know you have no idea what you're talking about. It's amazing how confident you seem yet you have no idea what the hell you're...
lol, you don't understand the topic if you think I didn't read the window sticker. I literally said destination was included in the MSRP (window sticker) and they tried to charge it a again. Idk, man. Try to take notes or something, because you don't get it
Dude. You don't get the situation if you think I didn't look at the window sticker.
My whole point is that it's bullshit they were advertising a fake discount.
Let me rephrase. They are still selling there cars with a fake sales online and tacking on destination fee under a seperate line.
That is not happening to me anymore because I called them out on it. I'm buying it for invoice
No, they literally said "at the end of the month we subtract the destination fee from the online prices to get people to come in". That's a fake sale..... that's the point of this thread. fake sale.
Dude, I said MSRP. all MSRP's include the destination fee. It's part of the window sticker pricing.
" As you probably know, every new vehicle in the United States comes with a window sticker, sometimes called the "Monroney." It shows the MSRP, or Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, for that...
Why are you bringing up taxes and my trade? I used this to show that in one quote there's a destination charge seperate, and the previous one it's not there. Do you not see that?
I WAS DOUBLE CHARGED. look at the images I posted
MSRP:$46,295 (THIS INCLUDES THE DESTINATION FEE)
Discounted Price (Before Rebates):$43,000
THEY THEN ADDED THE DESTINATION FEE
This was a fake discount
If you don't look at the images I provided with said dealer quotes then you don't actually understand the issue and your being lazy and just saying "This guy didn't read the window sticker".
If people can't spot the difference between first quote and second quote, that's on them. They subtracted the destination fee online to make it look like a sale then added it back on... that's a fake sale.. and that's what I'm pointing out.
And for all you "feel bad for dealership people"...
I explained in greater detail the situation and provided proof via photos of what the dealership was trying to do.
I agree most do business this way, but that doesn't mean I won't call them out and vent.
My first car was stick, my aunts 96 accord that I bought in 04. What a hard clutch and shifter lol. I've bought stick ever since, and idk, it's def a "me thing" but I always felt a jeep should be stick. So the truck I'm getting is stick
haha, you can see from my photos that they added a destination charge that was never there before. The rug was pulled, I caught it. And you're right, they're trying to make a profit, but that doesn't mean you add a destination fee on a whim to get back the advertised sale value.
"all three...
You must be pretty entitled to read a post about a dealership and think that they must be the good honest character in the story.
Both dealers told me when ordering that they didn't care if I cancelled. The one in Mass wanted me to so his commission would be higher.
