I've got the Fox 2.0 sitting in my basement. I bought it to fix the steering wander (which it probably would not have) but ended up getting the free steering box fix.
I do still plan to put it on the truck, but damn the nut is on tight. I couldn't get it loose using my (relatively short)...
You will definitely get some replies that the Fox 2.0 causes steering to pull because it is one directional. However, from what I've read on this if you install it correctly, including turning it all the way left/right multiple times right after installing, it should be fine.
The OEM one is...
So after reading this, I guess the answer is obvious but want to confirm:
If you have the plastic front bumper with skid plate (like standard on JTR), that existing skid plate is not compatible with the replacement steel front bumper? (Mopar or eBay knock-off.)
I hope this is very cool. But for primarily off-road use I'm also skeptical. Off-road battery usage tends to give what, 1/4 or 1/3 normal estimated on-road range? That's extremely limiting in the backcountry, where you are unlikely to find a charge.
That's a bummer. But also what I've thought when I've looked at the pdf instructions for other soft tops. I just don't see myself swapping this out spring/fall, and I do want the hard top in the winter here.
Yeah, the x12.5s tend to be D rated (33x12.5, 35x12.5, 37x12.5). The 35x10.0 are E rated for some reason.

Those of you with Baja Boss AT, are you getting the E rated tires, or a different rating? If E, what psi are you running them at?
The ones I'm considering are only offered in E. Worried that will feel stiff/harsh compared to my current C rated Falken MT.
Looks pretty interesting. I just scrolled through the installation. One thing I can't tell, if the velcro along the back will be an issue when reinstalling the hard top.

The OE steel rear is unpopular? I like mine. I wish my truck had the front steel too, but I bought it off the lot (good deal). I would have added it if building.
In a normal situation, as @ShadowsPapa says, you don't need this for towing. Just put the t-case in neutral. So, this isn't meant to be an everyday solution to towing.
But there are other threads about using this to release the... something... when something happens. I'll search. You do too.
When I bought mine, I asked them to install the Mopar one for me as part of the purchase deal. They said they couldn't, even if I paid them. Obviously that turned out to be wrong, but dealers were pretty confused about the parts early on, clearly.
Unrelated, do any of the 3rd party options...
Not sure if Spotify has added this yet, but you can set Apple Music to a "Lossless" setting, which is wav/CD quality. I don't let it stream in this format while on the road (eats up too much data), but you can download in this format at home.
Now you've got me curious though. My process of...
Obviously these cleaned engines look fantastic. In comparison mine looks like... crap. I'm jealous.
But can anyone comment on the health of the engine? Is this good, bad, irrelevant, etc? I've always been too nervous to do any type of cleaning under the hood. And I've had a Toyota hit 285k...
There's another thread with these same pictures, and there is feedback from the manufacturer that technically you aren't supposed to use it this way (folded to middle). But, they unofficially give some hints on how to do it, although they won't guarantee or certify that it is designed to drive...
