Whelp, goodbye Gladiator.
Second axle leak within 8 months of ownership and 7800 miles.
Still was bottoming out at 10 MPH and lower. Even going up my driveway at 5 MPH. Jeep really screwed over their customers. After not getting anywhere with the bottoming out problem I gave up. The bottoming...
So after the tech agreed that it was bottoming out, @JeepCares said my vehicle qualifies for NOTHING. Because I was going between, 5 and 10 MPH, it was too fast and this was NORMAL operating behavior. So, us non Rubicon Owners are screwed.
Wondering the same.
Unlikely @JeepCares will do anything for us non rubicons. This even would be a fix but no, let's not break apart our precious Mopar lift kit. Instead we will push this manufacturer defect that ISNT NORMAL onto the consumer even though it's our fault.
Well it's been into the dealership twice at least for this issue along with other things.
I have an appointment on the 8th, I'll be adding this to my list of complaints and asking for a fix.
In the mean time I was curious if these would help...
That's terrible. Nothing from. @JeepCares other then (That TSB is not for your vehicle).
Thanks a lot jeep, I really appriciate it. I bought a defective truck that can't offroad but is supposed to be able too.
Exactly and jeepcares will do nothing to address it.
I may talk to my dealer again and see what they recommend. It bottoms out which isn't normal.
It's almost lawyer time imho and the more people we get on board, the better. Rubicon owners get a fixnyet we don't? Wtf??
Jeep Cares said it is indeed only for the Rubicon only. Which means we are indeed screwed. I have the email to confirm it.
Who else is going to try and lemon law their truck?
Thats for Rubicons! Where the hell is the fix for us non Rubicon owners.
My tech said a lift would fix this immediately!
You guys told me it IS NORMAL to bottom out due to speed. Yet that TSB says nothing about speed.
This is not right.
Can't look right now, at work.
I have an appointment on Friday this week to have a chat with my lawyer.
@JeepCares doesn't seem to care about getting their customers help with the fix. So I feel like now I'm being backed into a corner.
Yes a bit extreme maybe, but I'm getting the run...
I'm in a sport s and @JeepCares says it's normal to bottom out if you go ever so slightly fast over a bump (I went 10MPH with a tech in the vehicle who agreed that it bottomed out. I went this speed to make sure it happened and make sure the tech heard it).
They told jeep cars about it and...
So apparently my dealership said that after diagnosing the issue told jeep cares I was going faster so bottoming out is a NORMAL operation. Umm no
My 2020 wrangler unlimited with the 2.0 engine never bottomed out no matter the speed.
My friends gas engine gladiator doesn't bottom out either...
