Hey, yea I do. It’s a high altitude, so overland with all options essentially. Here's the two photos i have with them on. i have a 1.5" level on it, and fox 2.5 performance elite shocks, however these fit stock also without an issue. I had these wheels on before the suspension upgrades.
The gladiator and the JL wrangler have the same interior, all newly updated. You may mean the new grand Cherokee Uconnect 5, yea the wrangler/gladiator doesn’t have that but not an issue, only difference really is wireless CarPlay. The gladiator frame is new for the chassis. Originally it was...
The basis of it yes, the block, but it’s had numerous refinements over the generation, same with the Tacoma but I was talking about the platform and the frame less about the engine.
Have had both. Now I only have the gladiator. That says it all.
That being said, the Tacoma like the 4Runner is dated, and you can tell. The engine is slow, and still has rear drums, which in icy conditions are very unsafe imo. Once the front lock up your Fucked on stock tires. but it’s a...
Can relate. Mine just showed up so I figure for $100 I’m gonna try them. Watch I love them and have no issues and can’t get the F’ing replacement blades
Seriously? How dumb is that. I mean they haven’t been out long but that’s no excuse. I wanted to get a bunch. What’s the point of installing this if it’s unsupported. Thanks for the info Benny!
$1800 OBO ($3800 new)
Selling a 5pc set. Bought new about 5 months ago and decided to move up to 35's as I re-worked some things. Came off my 22 Jeep Gladiator. ~2000 miles on them, practically like new 33" bundle.
Includes:
Factory Spare with New (0 miles on it) Nitto Terra Grappler G2...
Appearance - front 1.5" level, 35's, tints
Comfort - Front seat jackers, and a dead pedal. So much better
Bang for the buck - OEM headliner for freedom top
Use ability - Fox performance elite shocks
A lot of that going on here. I agree the level makes a difference. Had two JLs before I got the gladiator, leveled all 3 before I swapped the shocks and there’s a noticeable (not massive obviously) change in handling with the reduction in rake.
All depends on the installer
all depends on the installer. I know quite a lot of folks with them, some have had them for upwards 20 years in their antique cars and Daily drivers. It’s less of a big deal than everyone’s talking about. It’s a simple device. Quality of install matters for any...
when I said bypassed, I meant you can’t simply remove or disarm it, which is what the context of the question was.
Sure it can be removed. Time, knowledge and skill of the specific device and what it’s tapped and where. It’s there to stop theft, not offer a challenge for us tinkerers. It’s low...
It is hardwired and cannot be bypassed. That said if/when you need to leave your car at service or with a trusted party, you either leave the keychain connector in place in the vehicle, and say nothing, or show them how to use it. I never allow Valet parkers, never have. I can tell you countless...
