  1. Buying first year of the JT.

True but it's going to be the 3rd gen 3.0 in there with ESS and who knows what other changes. Definitely shouldn't have as many issues as a whole new engine though (hopefully)! Speaking of really wonder what possible upgrades we will see.
  2. Buying first year of the JT.

Completely agree. All of the biggest issues should rear its head by the time the JT is released. The only thing may be the Diesel which sounds like it could be timed to debut on both JL and JT at same time. Everything else is going to be much less of a concern. Longer frame/wheelbase and an...
  3. Will there be JT Scrambler Sport/Sahara/Rubicon? JT Trailhawk?

Like some others in here I would prefer different trim/packaging names but I understand why Jeep may want to keep it the same since it's so well known and wearing the Jeep name it has to be competent offroad too so the Rubicon label works. I found the thread with Manley's comment: “Anything...
  4. JT Scrambler (vs JK Wrangler) Frame and Axles

I think that's been the rumor all along that it will basically be like the Brute double cab conversion. If the wheelbase of the JLU is increased as they say it is to account for the hood I think your calculation and guesses on front/rear axle positioning is probably spot on. Interesting to read...
  5. Leaked Full-Bodied CAD Drawing of 2020 Jeep Gladiator (JT), Sources Says Four-Door Only

I think you're right. The front and rear wheel wells look very different in size in the CAD image but in all the recent spy pics the front/rear look about same size.. The CAD image's rear well looks more like the first mule using the Ram bed (but with a squared arch as if it's been designed...
  6. Leaked Full-Bodied CAD Drawing of 2020 Jeep Gladiator (JT), Sources Says Four-Door Only

That's the funny thing. The "connected source" in the article says everything forward of the box is the same as the JL Wrangler, but the hood is different. Either he's wrong about that or the vented hood seen on the JL is not going to be standard on all trims.
  7. Leaked Full-Bodied CAD Drawing of 2020 Jeep Gladiator (JT), Sources Says Four-Door Only

Wow leaking like a sieve lol. The bed looks on the small size...5'?
  8. Confirmed: 2020 Jeep Gladiator (JT) gets 3.0L diesel, hard/soft tops, longer frame, beefier axles

Thank you for this awesome info! I'm really happy about the top options and diesel confirmation :whew:
  9. Will there be JT Scrambler Sport/Sahara/Rubicon? JT Trailhawk?

Same here but I remember reading some statement about the JT not being a stripped down truck. Forget where it came from but it lead me to believe there may not be a basic "Sport" trim.
  10. Will there be JT Scrambler Sport/Sahara/Rubicon? JT Trailhawk?

Do you think the JT pickup will follow the same model offerings as the Wrangler? Should it? Or will they have a standard JT and Trailhawk version?
  11. Composite bed

Judging by the apparent size and weight of the JT I would say composite bed is fine. As stated above this is more of a "light" truck that you can also go offroading.
