The option to purchase higher trim models (Mojave, Rubicon), without the upgraded electronic packages. The 8.4 screen and alpine system are a waste for me and I've disabled the proximity locks. I'd love to have roll down windows and manual door locks like on the Sport, but all the factory...
What kind of trails are you thinking of running? Have you considered the Mojave trim? I apologize if you mentioned the weight of the small travel trailer you want to tow, but I'd assume a 6000lbs capacity (with auto) would be sufficient.
When I recently purchased, I was certain I would be...
When I ordered my '22 Mojave I waffled between sarge green and sting grey. In the end I went with sting grey because I thought it went best with the orange accents and I liked how the color changed slightly in different light. In my area I see far more sarge green, and have yet to see another...
I just wanted to update this thread and advise that I picked the Jeep up today for the originally agreed on price without any issue. Kudos to the dealership for sticking to the agreed upon price.
Lol, I placed my order at the dealership on September 5. For whatever reason it didn't make the '21 cut off and became a '22 model so the order date on my sheet says October 1. I originally had a ship date of December 2, then 3 and finally 14. I still don't have an update on where it is. (Jeep...
I would have purchased a Gladiator on day one if they produced the J6 concept with similar abilities to the 4dr. I have no use for back seats and wanted a slightly longer bed, but the 4dr has grown on me. Still waiting for my '22 to arrive.
I was initially disagreeing with an option that some on this thread had listed as a must have, providing some anecdotal reasons why, and later mentioned some other options that I felt were important, or not. You can continue arguing the point if you wish, but I'm good.
No, the OP asked for opinions on what forum members thought were "must have" options from the factory. I gave my opinion based on my experiences. I'm sorry my opinion seems to have threatened you somehow.
Well all I can say is I'm glad we have options. If I had to have the safety and advanced safety packages, amongst others, I doubt I would have purchased. It's bad enough ESS and now proximity sensors (hate this feature and will disable it) are forced on certain trims.
Ah yes true, I forgot you can't get auto start in a manual, that's unfortunate. This is the first automatic I've purchased for myself and I know I'm going to miss the control you get from rowing the gears but the clutch didnt feel right on my test drive and I didn't want to lose a third of the...
