I picked up my new camper today. 2021 Apex Ultra Lite 245BHS. 4578 dry weight. 578 tongue weight. Hooked it up with an Equalizer E4 WDH and a Curt Echo brake controller. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how the Mojave handled it. It was definitely no speed demon but I had no issues...
totally get that however I have the same axles as the rubicon and it can handle 700lbs of tongue weight. Just not sure why it’s different for the Mojave.
Follow up question regarding tongue weight. I know the Mojave has a limit of 600lbs but the rubicon can go up to 700lbs. Will I do damage to my truck if I have a hitch weight of 650lbs fully loaded?
I went from an F150 to a Gladiator, then back to an F150 and am now back in a Gladiator. There is something about this truck that keeps bringing me back. I’m happy to say that I will have this one for a long time.
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I know I won’t break any speed records but I believe my gladiator is capable. I might get air bags to help the squat along with a good weight distribution hitch.
