  1. Observations from 600 mile trip on Day 1

Agree completely. After getting spoiled with the ACC and LED headlights on my Honda there was no chance I wasn't getting them on the JT. LKAS would have been nice but they would have to have put a completely different steering system in it. Though, the JL/JT has got to be the newest vehicle...
  2. Observations from 600 mile trip on Day 1

The Jeep has four distance follow settings if you get one optioned with ACC.
  3. Observations from 600 mile trip on Day 1

I had similar experiences, as I picked mine up in OKC then turned around and drove 250 miles back to DFW then two days later 450 miles home. Though I've found mine holds close to the set speed very well and the ACC is very smooth. My steering is fairly loose but this is my first Jeep so I just...
  4. Prospective buyers beware

There is no manual mode just lesser auto modes with no way to manually control temperature. It's the exact same way in my Honda and the GMC I traded in on this.
  5. How do I get rid of the annoying ads on side of page?

Install Firefox with uBlock Origin add-on Also, have a PiHole on the home network.
  6. Heater/AC blowing hot air at 60 or higher

It's about the same as the Canyon the JT replaced worked. There was no full manual mode for the A/C where LO is far to the blue, HI is far to the red and everything else was in between. No matter what it was adjusting the blend door to try and get the cabin to the set temperature. If it was 30...
  7. Galvanic Corrosion

That sounds more like a poor paint job leading to paint failure or corrosion crawling up under the paint since the door and hinge are both aluminum.
  8. Galvanic Corrosion

I did a quick search and found one that shows some paint bubbling where the hinge mount touches the door panel. That's not where I'd expect it since the doors and hinge mount are both aluminum. I was expecting it to be more of a problem where the hinge mount on the door touches the hinge on the...
  9. Galvanic Corrosion

I was poking around on my truck and noticed there's a lot made out of aluminum, which got the engineer in me thinking: has anyone had a dissimilar metals vehicle before and noticed any galvanic corrosion? Aware of anyone that's released a write-up on steps they took to prevent galvanic corrosion...
