I didn't buy a Hooke Road bumper but I did get their cargo shelf for my JL and was very happy with it. Good design, well made, exceptional finish and it was easy to install. For the bumper I went with a Rough Country #10596 on my JL, which also fits the JT, and that was an awesome piece.

Tinted the front windows to match the rears. I don't get why vehicle manufacturers don't do this as a matter of course. Maybe it's because there is a preponderance of different laws that don't allow more than 35% on the front windows. If so, that seems kinda stupid to me.

With stock wheels the extensions do look silly, even with 35's although I'm not sure if they are 11.50s or 12.50s. I put on the XR flare extensions, aka "spats" in MOPAReze", on my Wrangler but but the offset was -12 vs. the stock 44.5 mm offset so it worked out just fine. Now that I have the...

Agreed on the potential for a shorted wire in the light circuit. I asked my question just to make sure it wasn't the light icon for the reasons you stated.

Can we ask that you take a pic of this? I know my cargo light indicator comes on in the dash when I turn them on. I've never seen a CEL come on when the cargo lights are on. This is what the cargo light indicator looks like:
