They already said the diesel would have a slightly less towing rating, but everyone assumed it was due to cooling issues. We may have uncovered the real reason here, in extra weight of the engine. Truthfully it doesn't matter to me, because I'll NEVER tow more than about 5000 lbs with it. But...
I've said it MANY times. I have it on good information that the Gladiator diesel build is scheduled for this April. No information on when the order window opens, but my WAG is Feb/March.
Can't wait for the 411 on the lift.

That snorkel is fugly (IMHO).
