Iām just under 2kish on the odometer and the best Iām getting is mid 16mpg. Gas, no mods, just my big butt in the driverās seat. Better than my old 4.7l v8, not as good as my 3.2l Cherokee Trailhawk.
I didnāt know Clearlidz was a thing⦠thatās really cool, and if it was weatherproof I could see putting them on in the Spring and pretty much leaving on ātil the Fall!
Itās not bad at all really. I wonder if what people are objecting to isnāt so much the speed of a truck like this⦠itās that it feels like itās working pretty darn hard to do it. Between the exhaust and the lack of sound deadening (not complaining, just observing) you know the Pentastar is doing...
Bought my JT and extended warranty from Tom and crew at Hayes. Like, sat in his office and everything. The best dealership experience Iāve personally ever had.
Live off a dirt road and while Iām used to a dirty vehicle, just driving on it with my Mojave gets mud all over the door handles.
Assuming this is a solvable issue, are there any extended fender flares for the Mojave that work, look good, and keep the mud off the door handles Thanks in advance.
Itās revvy but I donāt mind the power. I know I wasnāt buying a sports car when I got this thing. It gets out of itās way - loudly, but well enough - better than my old Dakotas with V6s and V8. Once I get my headliners installed hopefully the noise wonāt even be as bad.
That is slick! Iād been playing around with ideas to fab up something that would mount to the plastic transmission hump cover but I like this way more.
Of course. I always tell people⦠banks still get robbed despite way more layers of security and protection than I can put on a house or truck⦠you just try to make it a little tougher on them, so they have to make more noise so you can hear them and address the situation, that kind of thing.
I didnāt want to get too elaborate with it so I just went with the $24 one that came with itās own key.
Iāve had locking gas caps before, even drilled a hole in it so I could tether the thing, but Iād have an error code pop up due to an evap leak or something.
