I have the 37ā KO2ās on quite heavy AEV Borahs and Mopar lift on my Rubicon.
(I run Nokian LT3 35ās on factory rims in the winter when I do some towing)
I think the 37ās are great and definitely wouldnāt regear if not towing. Tazer settings for accurate speedo are 36.5ā for the KO2ās, and...
I used brake cleaner and got my right rear dust shield cleaned up. Appears to be a very minor leak. Perhaps the increased venting will prevent future leaks. Not sure how I plan to waterproof the vent (I removed the membrane while inspecting it). Could use k&n filter skin as a membrane, or...
I did put the multiple layers of felt pads back in place and so feel comfortable about dust, just not moisture.
I think an inadequate vent would always leak from one side only, because the excess pressure is quickly mitigated.
Based on your experience, I decided to check my rear diff breather. I removed the hose at the diff and tried to blow through it, impossible. I then removed the top vent assembly and couldnāt blow through it. I then pulled apart the vent assembly. The white membrane looked clean so I ripped...
Currently reading all these threads on leaking right rear axle seals⦠??
My ā22 Rubicon has only 12,000kms (7500miles) of very easy city miles.
Noticed an oily dust shield while underneath the vehicle today. I have no experience with my dealers service department, but I guess Iām going to...
Added comparison pics to original post. PFCC cleat is a bit shinier. Identical size. Stainless t-bolt is same size but has ridges on underside which donāt effect function.
I had searched about a year ago for extra Mopar cleats but couldnāt find any, and didnāt want to go with the larger Tacoma cleats people were using.
Today I received some Amazon units, a pack of 4 for $50cdn which wasnāt too bad I thought.
They appear to be identical and fit perfectly.
PFCC...
Late night boredom, working on motorbikesā¦. siphoned some gas and decided to top off the Gladiator.
Spent an hour searching my extremely organized truck⦠trying to decide what the most logical place was that I would have stored the factory funnelā¦.
Finally realized it isnāt capless and just...
Had to run my sled to the dealer, first opportunity to see that I did indeed install the Mopar brake controller correctly! ??
Itās a 7x14 full aluminum, 3500lbs with two sleds and gear. Was surprised that the factory mirrors seem adequate with the convex I have stuck on them as well.
I got the notification as well⦠talked to the service dept. and they told me it must be a mistake because mine has power locks.
I figured they were wrong but didnāt feel like arguing that day. I always use my power locks, and not key, so hoping Iām not at risk of failure in the mean time.?!?
ummm, yeah I was just referring to the installation of the factory heater in the factory location. It works well in the -35°C stuff we get in Saskatchewan.
