Installing a 2" Mopar lift soon and also a new steel bumper and winch. Thinking about getting some 1/2" spacers for the front to counteract the winch/bumper weight. Thoughts?
Stock Wildpeak M/T.
I'm running at the recommended 37 psi (cold) per chart in door jamb.
Pretty much all my driving is highway to and from work and it rides well at 37 psi (cold).
I honestly thought the Falken M/T were going to be worse driving day in/day out than they actually are. They make a little bit of tire hum but not bad really. I've heard much much worse (ahem, Federal Couragia). You can definitely feel the lugs and bite when turning slow on concrete, but overall...
Yeah, their stuff is bad. Really bad. But they know their market and cater to them. I imagine their clientele is usually a professional athlete, an Instagram influencer or a bar/club owner, who knows nothing about Jeeps but just wants to look cool.
Installed some Rugged Ridge door sills. I really like that these cover the lip that goes into the cab as this is where most of the scuffing takes place from shoes, boots, etc. getting in and out.
Yes, you just move the shade out of the way a little to access the latches. It's all bungee cords, so it stretches easily enough to get your hand in there.
I have not driven both, but I can tell you that I put about 20,000 miles on a set of 34" Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my F-150 and loved them. They looked aggressive, but were very quiet on the street. You could barely hear the tire hum with the Ridges, especially compared to the Falken M/T's I have...
To me, this is the biggest thing. You can't go through your whole life not getting that Jeep, Corvette, boat, etc. because when you're 90 years old you'll be sitting there talking about the "should've and the almost" and not truly ever getting that feeling of satisfaction from actually owning...
But that's literally only bad wheels and tires. The lift is Mopar, the interior is unmolested, and the rest of the Jeep is stock. All you would need to fix the ugly on that one is to change out the wheels and tires. The one I posted almost has to be stripped in order to make it unembarrasing to...
