I don't want to offend anyone's choice of diesel. All ICE engines are doomed for extinction in the future. My wife and I both have VW TDI vehicles. I am just pointing out that they are far fewer diesel vehicles on the market and there are reasons for that. I have personally owned two Ram...
As someone who has owned diesel vehicles for the past 30 years I would go with the gas. I have a 3.6. The current generation of diesel vehicles are overly complicated due to emissions. Diesel engines were never intended to run with the current restrictions. There is much more to go wrong...
Take the advice from Punk'n. I don't purchase extended warranties. I plan to keep this Glad so I decided to do so. I checked numerous local dealers as well as Mopar Direct. Tom beat all prices by a fair bit and I made the purchase from him. Highly recommend Tom.

Not to defend the dealer but it may not be all on them. I had two real estate transactions last year and had serious problems caused by the failure of the USPS to deliver documents which were sent overnight in a timely fashion. I've also noticed that 1st class mail is nowhere near as quick as...
As others have said try a VW TDI. My DD is a 13 Jetta and the wife has a 15 Passat, both are TDI. We have had several others in the past. Fun to drive and get 40+ on the mileage.
Wife and I drove from Harrisburg Pa to Key West Fl stopping only for gas and bathroom breaks. It took us just over 22 hours and was just over 1300 miles. I drove about 3/4 of the trip and it wasn't that bad. Not sure that I would do it again though.
Aonarch was right. I just measured and it's 7 inches from the rear hardtop when open. Mine would hit if it were open. The advantage is that it only takes a second and one hand to close it from the driver's seat.
