    I've heard of sawdust in the rear end to quiet noisy gears but not the engine! Anywho, best of luck and hope that you have some trouble free miles ahead.

    If electric is so great, why not let the free market decide? If you build a better mouse trap people will buy it. But forcing things down peoples throats doesn't sit well with many.

    I agree. I think that most mechanics or techs(lol) overtighten the oil filter cap. My opinion is that could lead to oil cooler failure down the road.

    How was my post political? It was a statement of fact! California is going all electric and then asked owners not to plug their cars into the already strained grid. I don't see politics in that statement.

    I'm the same way. My Jeep won't grace the dealership for an oil change. I'm not convinced they don't over torque the cap for the oil filter which could lead to trouble down the road.
