Airlift 1000 kit for JT
Air Lift 1000 Air Suspension Kit 60830 https://a.co/d/6SlBBwc
If you’re dead set on a lift i LOVEA my iron rock off road 2in lift. But in retrospect i should have stuck to the daystar 3/4in front and rear spacers. A little lift w/o having to do any other suspension...
Im pretty glad i didnt listen to all of the nay sayer’s about how a Jt cant pull a 6k travel trailer. Where i live and where I tow..this is fantastic
May want to add more info for them. Size? Offset? How long you used them? Maybe a link to them new as a comparison for a potential buyer.
Just a suggestion ?
wild but good to know!
I remember when the JT first came out the fender liners on the rubis were super thin and would flop at high speed. made me wonder if I had the issue on my sport s....which I don't think I did. but i ended up drilling small holes in the fender liner and zip tieing the...
Between these and the killer deal a couple months ago on the kenda tires either theres a total jeep bro working for walmart or we need to collectively start paying more attention for when these steal deals drop!
Just because the dealer installed it doesn’t mean they did it right. Its your rig but double checking costs you nothing but a little time.
As far as within spec…personal experience speaking i had my JT “aligned” and was supposedly in spec. Even had the sheet that showed it. But when i checked...
Im interested in what you find after following the suggestions so far. Im willing to be that it has to do with the lift, or caster/toe.
Toe is VERY easy to check and reset your self. After doing it once I wont pay anyone to do it again.
as for the lift. I remember early on a mess of shops...
Ill add my wifes JL to the cracked club…
Started small and traveled. The tape slowed it down enough that we made it home. Going to safelite tomorrow.
I do a good amount of highway driving. But that is my overall average. I get 18-20 around town depending on how I accelerate and how far i drive. The lighter, smaller, tires made a huge difference.
@Snake Eyes
Im with you brotha.
I went larger at first, then went back to a more stock size. I now run 255/75/17 and am as happy as can be. 21-22mpg normal driving, and i can pull a big ol’ trailer with the slightly stronger tires and never worry.
Heres where I decided to go back to more...
makes me feel better to know this is more normal that I anticipated. I was used to always seeing 14 -14.8 all the time. I guess a PCM or ECM update changed that in my 2020.
FWIW
I had my JT evaluated at the dealer today thinking maybe my alternator was bad. Every this is fine and they printed out the bulletin regarding battery voltage I found interesting.

Youll be happy and it take no wiring or setup. Theres a whole thread on here of folks who were skeptics and ended up getting one and being happy.
Nice looking Tt!
Id have to double check but I think part of the problem was that the aluminum box and old bolts were moving. And there’s not supposed to be any movement after the TSB for the steel box. But I could be way wrong.
As far as the synergy setup, early on a lot of guys got it more for the steering...
i took my synergy a WHILE ago. it was binding up and making a gnarly noise, and somehow my drivers side spring was contacting the bracket its self...despite the install being correct. I got the upgraded piece from synergy, but never put it back on. Realistically I dont see it helping much if at...
there are just tons of options and opinions out there.
But a piece of advice i should have followed…DRIVE IT STOCK FOR A WHILE.
Really get a feel for what it does on its own and that will help guide what upgrades you need and want. Not just what look shiny and neat on the forums...
I don’t often read all the way through threads like this but I really appreciate your updates and info. Really is great food for though for all of us who haven’t been in your position.
Its great to have a bit of a strip map of the process now just incase something happens.
Im VERY glad it...
