I've never personally had a "regular" soft top...only the premium version on my rigs (I've owned 2 JKs, 1 JL, and 2 JTs)...so I can't comment on the difference between them.
However, I've always done dual tops...and I can say that the difference in noise going from the premium soft top to the...
For sale - full set of 4 Gladiator Mojave wheels/tires (optional wheelset) with spare including TPMS and OEM lugs. They were taken off the same weekend I brought the truck home, so there's even still a little tire shine on them. The 4 mounted tires have <300 miles on them; the spare has 0 miles...

I actually just went on the Toyo website, and the same specs are listed. They have two 35x12.5x17 tires - C and E loads. A 35 max PSI gives me pause...but the rest of the specs are well within the range of a Gladiator. I can only imagine bringing the truck in for a simple rotation, and the...
I pulled these tread widths from Tire Rack as I was doing my research on the Toyo Open Country A/T III:
LT315/70R17 D = 10" (66 lbs)
35x11.5R17 C = 9" (61 lbs)
35x12.5R17 C = 9.8" (59 lbs)
I'm not exactly sure how the 12.5s come in 2 lbs lighter than the 11.5s...it's gotta be a typo, although...
This Mojave is the first automatic I've ever owned...and my wife is pumped because she finally gets to drive one of my rigs in the 27 years we've been together. I've tried to teach her a stick on several occasions, and she's just not interested in really learning, lol.
I guess we'll see if her...
Fwiw, you completely understand where I'm coming from and my specific use case. It's much appreciated. My preferences and needs just 10 years ago when my family was much younger were very different. I spend most of my days "wheeling" to soccer games, track meets, and dance competitions...so I...
Looks good. I have done similar to past aftermarket wheels I've used on vehicles. I personally prefer an "OEM" look, so this totally resonates with me!
I actually looked at them...early reviews weren't actually very good, but I chalked that up to "high expectations". However, they're impossible to find in 35s. Tire Rack only has them in 285/70R17 and Discount Tire says they're "coming in August 2024".
Based on the specs for a 315/70R17, they...
I think you just helped me decide. I do some very light off road stuff on the weekends when I can, but right now, I use my truck for work, getting my kids to school/sports/activities, and truck type stuff for around the house. For my use case, I think 11.5s make the most sense.
That's exactly why I'm torn...they're essentially the same thing. That's why I'm asking the question. Is there any practical advantage to the 12.5 other than *maybe* aesthetics? Otherwise, I might as well go with the lighter tire.
