I think of it as the opposite of being a gimmick. As long as they are quality lights, integrating them into a part that already exists and is necessary seems pretty slick. They won’t look tacked on. I love it when people give an existing part even more functionality!

Hood glare has never been an issue for me for some reason but definitely see your point. I’d like to see them from further back but a search produced no such pics.

Looks pretty cool. Wish it would integrate with their chase rack. I’m looking for something like that but so far haven’t seen anything I like. The Maximus 3 is closest but a bit too bulky for my eye.
