This is brilliant. Mine is in my center console so I can have access to unplug it easily.
Mine has a similar issue in the summer months only and I have been convinced that it was heat related.
In my gladiator, carplay wouldnāt work using the center console USB connector and a wired connection to the phone. Well, it would work, for a few minutes, and then it would freeze up, become unresponsive, and it was effing annoyingā¦. The USB connection on the dash worked fine, but I hated...
Wireless carplay dongle + USB-A to USB-C adapter, plus USB-C to USB-c 6ā cable so that I could tuck the whole thing into the center console and have CarPlay work seamlessly and effortlessly was a LIFE CHANGER for me. It took me too long to learn this hack, and I am still upset at Stellanits for...
I actually ended up installing the foam bits on mine. I figured that it was an easy enough step for an added piece of mind, just in case. And they arenāt visible at all with the cover rolled up on laid out flat. And if they fall off, so be it.
We did get some rain here this morning and I noticed...
Got mine installed today, it was super easy! Another question for everyone else who installed theirsā¦. Did anyone/everyone skip the last step where you put the foam pads on that keep it from hitting up against the rear glass? I havenāt done that yet, but was unsure how necessary that step was...
Subscribing because I am having the same issue with my dieselā¦. Less than 14k miles, and Iāve had the Jeep for about 14 months. ESS stopped working a few months back, before the cold weather moved in, and I have had a few startups lately where I have gotten the message about the aux switches...
How is the water intrusion? Good enough to keep the contents dry enough driving through the rain?
Also, with the cover rolled up, how much rearwards visibility does it block?
Can anyone with a Bak x4s tonneau cover confirm whether or not the tonneau cover can be rolled up and removed completely? Or is it attached permanently at the bulkhead? I am kind of leaning towards that, or a softopper lol.
I would definitely like the Bak x4s if it could simply be rolled up...
Thanks again for all the replies guys! I have seen a few good suggestions that I like and am going to look into some more.
A lot of comments about security/privacy, which is a good thought. But my primary concern is just keeping stuff dry(ish) in case of rain.
Thanks for all the input guys! I will look through all these options this weekend when I have a bit of time. Still unsure whether I am leaning towards the tonneau or a soft topper as I still donāt want either hahaha. But I know that I will need somethingā¦
So, I donāt really want a tonneau cover on my truck, but with a kid on the way in the next few weeks, I am afraid that I am going to need a tonneau cover to haul stuff around⦠an anyone recomend a good truck bed cover for someone that does not want a truck bed cover? Is a soft topper going to...
I donāt regret me decision for the diesel one bit. The added fuel economy, reduced emissions, and extra power are worth it. The times that I have had a loaner, I hate how much the pentastar and the transmission have to work to make power. The diesel is so smooth, its an entirely different beast.
Yeah, but the cost of delivery outweighs buying or renting a trailer lol.
I have a plan now though that involves not overloading the vehicle. I was just hoping that I was wrong with what I thought.
Oof. Thanks for the replies guys, that is about what I was afraid of. Seems a tad on the ridiculous side that itās so low, but it is what is.
Guess itās back to the drawing board!
Hey guys and gals, Sorry if this has been addressed previously, but I canāt find a definitive answer so farā¦
I have a ā21 Rubicon eco diesel, and I am in the midst of some home projects that are going to require moving some paving stones. What is the max payload that I can safely move with the...
Yeah, unfortunately that is a lot further drive than I would consider lol.
I saw your other thread, and would consider it. But mine is a painted hard top, and not whiteā¦. I do kind of want to keep the hard top though, just want a soft top for the summer
