Just to make it easy here is a map I threw together really quick of the trails. Star is a base camp.
Engineer and Cinnamon pass are part of Alpine Loop, I also forgot to include the alpine look connector on the map.
I might head out on Monday, check out the camp site and see if it is available and hopefully claim it. Worst case scenario I will have some time in the area to find an alternative.

Do it! Ever since I got roam vagabond I will never sleep in a ground tent again. So much more comfortable and also I will never have to wake up to a bear trying to sneak a peek inside lol

I changed to AGM since I live in Colorado and planning on doing couple camping trips during winter. Renogy has a safety feature that will not charge the battery when it is below 1c(32f) outside. So I want with AGM battery.
Better ride comfort on washboards. It definitely makes a big difference. Also, for offroading airing down gives you better traction since the contact area between tire and road is bigger.

that is one trade off to this setup is rear view visibility is none-existent. It doesn’t bother me that much since I drive like an old man and backup camera helps with parking. Only thing is I have to lean to the side so I can check on cars behind me through side mirrors. I don’t think even 8”...
