I agree with some stuff he says and some not. He's completely against EV's. They aren't for me either but I'm not going to beat them up as bad as he does. He's getting bad about click bait titles that have nothing to do with his content just to get views.
You can try to put out a small fire somewhere isolated
True. You'll just need to make a judgment call in each case. My buddy Pute had an old chevy truck that caught on fire going down the road. We just took turns peeing on it and got it put out.
He is far from your typical case.
True but still, you'll always be far better off fixing one little thing than trying to battle an insurance company that doesn't want to pay out.
I've seen various comments to the effect of "let it burn and let insurance sort it out"
I've said let someone steal it so I can get rid of the payments.
I'll never say that again after I've had one stolen. Although i came out OK on the insurance payout part, that was a log time ago. Just...
what my agent told me.
That in itself can still be an issue. Especially when someone far away corporate is approving the final payout. However, I did have a truck stolen a long time ago. It had some added accessories, and I had all the receipts for them, and after the payout amount on the...
It might help to dig out your purchase paperwork and read over it carefully. Dealers like to slip in little things like gap policies in hopes nothing happens and you don't notice or pay attention to them doing this. You might have purchased a gap policy and don't know it.
A quick search in your area shows Gladiators for sale retail from 48-55k.
I know all this stinks. I had a truck stolen, and after that, when I get tired of payments or something else, I'll never say I hope someone steals this stupid thing again.
Look up "Depreciation" As soon as you sign for any new vehicle, you immediately eat a loss in value. Some finance companies are requiring / insisting on a gap insurance policy that will cover the depreciated value in case of a loss before the loan is paid down enough to match what the...
I predict some upcoming sales with these links. I'm even thinking maybe

If your is broke or not, get these. It will fix it and prevent it from happening again, or it will prevent it from happening the first time. Either way, get a set and install them. Takes just a few minutes...
Yep that's it. Maybe someday. I like it when I do get to see these, how much more metal it feels compared to new. I guess back then everything was like that and it was just a normal feel to them
I wanted one of the Scramblers so bad way back then, like the one pictured. At that time they were out of my price range. heck i was just out of HS so everything was out of my range. So now that I can, I have my JT. It's rare, but occasionally I'll see one of the old style which I still...
Yeah, I have a bit of an ethical issue with selling a truck I know is about to die and screw somebody else
Have you ever seen a used vehicle for sale sitting on a lot that includes a list in the window with everything known wrong? Nope, and you never will. Thats part of buying a used...
Been there, and I won't go back on an Eco Diesel. Unfortunately, dump it before it gets hit with a carfax of a new engine, then nobody will buy it, besides a dealer that knows they will dump it at an auction.
You can always just get a fresh bottle of N02 and blast it right out of the valve into the air intake. Shouldn't cause any problems. But if you do, make sure you get it on video for us.
