Same here. We may be able to find a speaker for it (I think it is a Bose) but we would need to purchase the charging cradle. Not sure MOPAR has it out yet as a replacement part.
I have an App on my Iphone (CPCraigslist). It searches a bit broader of an area. I actually found the tires and wheels in Tampa and the other parts in Jacksonville. Little bit of a drive but worth it for the deals.
Did anyone add blind spot mirrors to a JT that did not originally come with them?
Was looking at these...

...and wondered if they are literally plug and play of if I need another mod in the system.
It looks like they are...
The cool thing I have always liked about Jeep is the ability to pick up new (take-off) parts from other Jeeps (typically I watch Craigslist).
This is the Sport S that I purchased up a couple of weeks ago.
So far added...
New Overland Wheels and Tires (4) - $400*
Rubicon front bumper (only...
I have noticed that most people with the 35's also have a 17" wheel. The Overland has an 18" wheel (which I have). I wonder how that comes into play when it comes to TIRE size recommendations....keeping the 18" Wheel. Anyone? :)
Getting ready to cut up a few things on the JT (I usually start with a Sport S and add stuff).
Does anyone know if the Sport and the Rubicon have the same exact plastic bumper?
The reason I ask is that I am chasing two parts.
1. The red hooks.
2. The plastic part behind the fog lights.*...
You do not need to remove the back window (or corner pieces to flip back the top). There is some debate on how fast you can or should go, but I have been on the highway like that with no problem.
It took me about 2 min to put the back window in. Same for the corners. Really pretty easy. Maybe...
Thanks for sharing. On my JL I just cut up the transition piece...leaving the part that covered the fog lights (used a Dremel per a video on the JL board). Worked great.
For what it is worth, the last insurance data I heard showed no significant improvement with Gorilla glass. But it is also possible there was just not enough data yet.
Like many have already said...the JL paved the way for most of this model. So, are you really ok buying a second-year car...on a brand that has been around for some time...Yep...I am ok with it.
As for noise, it depends on what model of soft top you are coming off of. I can't speak to a JL soft top (I had a hard top on that one) but it is definitely quieter than the JK.
Jeep has come a long way on the design (losing the zippers, etc). I was reluctant in getting the soft top...but was...
