I use either sea foam or latley the Chevron brand. I used it and also the Lukas green
gass treatment .I used it in my old 2012 jeep liberty with the 3.7 and never had injector problems for the 100k I put on her.
I get my servlce form a , I think very good and honest dealer shop. But After I pick the glad up I stop up the street and check the oil for coleration. Plus I check to see if the filter cap was removed for a new filter. So fat so good.
Good that your doing that. I had them torque the loose nut's on the front end at 2 k with my first oil change. With these warranties it's good to have a service record from the dealer that it was looked at and fixed. Good luck.
I did the first one at 2k, then the next at 4K. Now I'll go every 5 k. But I do a lot of short time drives during the week for work. So during the school year , depending on my miles , I'll do it every 4k.
Don't matter, At the dealer level it's a No NO. It's not a wise idea to buy and sell a slavage title to a customer. Privatly , you can take the chance. Me I wouldn't do it. I don.t even like buying used. I have seen some of these teddy bears when they were traded in , run hard and put away wet...
Last March I leased a 2023 Gladiator freedom package. With just the factory options it was $ 55,500.00 . They knocked off 8500.00 that's 15,36%. Plus gave me good money for a 2012 Jeep Liberty latitude. The Liberty had some problems but was clean. The dealer was Hertich Jeep of Elkton ,MD. The...
Salvage title is a NO NO. You never buy anything with a slavage title. Dealers never buy a salvage title unit for a reason. I wouldn't want any Jeep or anything else that bad to go with a slavage title. If a dealer bought one with a slavage title, don't buy from them.
I usaully turn my auto start off before driving away. The other day I forgot but the heater was on. I was at the first light from where I live and the engine didn't shut off. I chaecked the screen display and it read auto stop not working due to heater or ac on. I figure this is normal, I like...
It happens with the auto shut off. Sometimes I can catch it from sound and shut it off manualy. I did notice at one gas station the rubber above the nozle inclosed the whole entrance to the filler tube, it worked great. Other,s ride above the filler tube. I keep the fender waxed real good, Lol...
I have a 2023 Glad gas job. sometimes when I fill it up it shoots gas out the filler tube when it's topped off. It wont do it all the time , but enough times to be anoying.
I had a 2012 Jeep Liberty that did it every once in awhile, no more than 3 to 4 times in 11 years. I'm afraid it will be...
The dealer in my area is great for service times. I can only bring my Glad in on Saturdays, they always give me an early appointment on the next Saturday. Hertrich of Elkton.
OK, Everything is good. I drove home from work, parked the Jeep and waited 5 min or so. I checked oil and it was right at the top of the cross hatch, right where the wire meets. right where it should be. I figure the filter holds a good amount of oil in it till ti drains. I checked it again 5 min...
I know, But the oil is put in with a pump, When I worked at dealerships, sometimes they wouldn't pay attension to what they pumped in. But I beleave the new pumps are set for how many quarts go in, I retired in 2011, so I hope they changed to the new pumps. Lol
Thank's I checked the work order, , it shows 5 guarts of 0-20. I'll check it tomorrow the way you said to. All my other Jeeps said to check when oil was warm or hot. This oil change was my last free one. I had the first one done at 2k then this one at 6k. Now I'll just go every 5 k. Thanks again.
