While I'm a huge advocate of lifting and customizing, if that Jeep were mine I'd keep that sucker bone stock. It's a beaut! Hell, I'd probably even throw it in the garage. That thing will be rare and highly sought after in a few years.
In my area of the country Jeeps rule and trying to keep up becomes a challenge. I feel like my hands goes up more than my turn signals do. Because of which sometimes I miss out of sheer fatigue. :like:
I'm sure this is area specific. I rarely come across the issue of dirty hand pumps but the annoying wait for gas people using the only available diesel pump is real ?
There's quite a bit of information lacking. I think you should post photos explaining exactly which bumper you have, what's missing and what your final ideal conclusion is. At the moment it appears to me that you're attempting to put two different bumper's parts together. Problem is, it's hard...
Did I forget to mention that I'm on my second one?!
Truth is I wouldn't buy one in a 3.6l. They are much too under powered for my large hilly/low mountain area.
The problem is not the cam but the square hole. They're only 4 small points of contact and because of which it increases the likelihood of creating a weak point. A cam bolt eliminator assists in strengthening the area. That is, until some other engineering idea arrives.
I went looking for a JT or JL Cam bolt eliminator however I wasn't able to find any doing thorough searches. Are there any available or would using a JK eliminator be fine?
