That TrailRecon guy is just an attention whore douchebag with to much money. Reminds me of a male off-roading Cardashian.
Youtube constantly tries to get me to watch his useless showing off and I keep trying to get youtube to stop recommending his vids. I prefer more helpful build videos over...
I know this was posted a while ago but I just bought this lift and figured I could post a follow up for you once I get it.
That being said, Superlift emailed me saying they're behind on orders and the kit should probably ship around the end of May ?.
Well the good thing about being in Georgia is word of mouth is just about as good as FB and there are more jeepers here than just about anywhere else I've traveled in the nation.
So besides the fact that access to the plug in spot on the engine is next to impossible to quickly reach, I noticed that the OEM cord has heat shielding while the cheepo Napa one does not. Given that and being an experienced firefighter I've backed out installing the napa block heater cord.
Great point, I was stuck in the JK line of thinking, my goof.
However it is a part that, if used, will fail eventually. If you're comfortable with trusting that idea I say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Personally, I'd be keeping a close eye on it.
It's been my experience that whether not you replace the front driveshaft after lifting you're going to have to replace it soon enough. Those cv boots once pinched don't last long especially with high speed highway driving.
What the ??? Why in the world would this be separate from the rails? Convenient for the situation to be able to buy them for $1.99 from Quadratec, but come on Mopar.
Thx Evo, my fellow Jeephead
Looks really nice. I think I'll have to go an inch bigger and 37's though. However, I prefer the exact lift and tire combo you're rocking. I'll be needing the extra ground clearance for local creek crossing and moderate trail riding.
BINGO!!
Also the Torx are mislabeled F in the second diagram and the hex bolts you mentioned aren't even included but each rail takes 4 torx bolts which equals 12, so they at least got that right.
