Just took a mental count and I think I have about three and two different IFAKs. In addition to boo-boo kits. I just always wonder how many people who carry them have actually practiced using them.
What trim level do you have? In my Rubicon, I canât disable ESC in 2H. The button only disables traction control no matter how long I hold it. In 4H it turns of ESC and then allows the rear locker after turning on Off Road+.
Looks like a really nice, full featured system. I had a Auxbeam controller on my last rig and while adequate, it lacked some of the customization features and did not have CarPlay integration. When I outgrow my AUX switches, this is definitely a option I will be considering.
I donât collect ducks, but when my wife got her â21 JLU the kids were still young enough to enjoy that stuff and she carried ducks to leave. She also got excited when someone left one on her jeep.
I think itâs silly that some people get upset about it, just be prepared for that. I havenât been...
What situations would unlocking the swaybar and locking the rear in 2Hi be useful?
I ordered the LSD rear on the wifeâs JLU for winter driving where she wouldnât need to think about locking/unlocking. I understand the utility of the LSD in 2Hi, but if you are going to run sand/dirt why wouldnât...
I am using an AllTop portable dual stage right now, but I will be going to a Grimm Offroad fender mount ARB. I donât have a lot of room in the bed, so if I can relocate the compressor and not have to get it out and hook it up, then itâs all the better. However, it was nice that I was using a...
I have to call around today and see where the best price is. I usually buy from Discount tire, but need to see if the Dealer or Local shop can beat them.
Personally, I like to minimize the number of things I have financed and unless you have extremely high mileage on them, â22 isnât that old. I would likely dump the 4XE and just put some money into the Rubicon to get it to where you want. Making some modifications to it may offset the FOMO of the...
I agonized over the decision, but ultimately went with an Alu-Cab Contour Canopy. Found one a couple hours away for $2k. Deals are out there if you search.
No issue with my current cowl light setup. The local car wash uses the big microfiber flap wheels. I am almost to âno car washâ point though with my solar panels
I have had them for about a year. They survived a couple of trips and one wreck on my Silverado. I have had them through one winter and there isnât really any corrosion on the housings. The spread is pretty decent. Not a lot of throw, but I just need to see 30-40 feet off of the road.
They were...
Currently, I only run cowl/ditch lights. For the overlanding we do, they are critical. Mine are angled about 45 degrees out because I need to see off the side of the road/trail when looking for possible campsites after dark. I will eventually put some supplemental front lights on, but the...
