I can live without it and XM. I don't like to have to pay or be reminded to pay for something that is nice, but not needed. As long as I can walk up to the car with the, remote somewhere on my body is good enough.
I prefer the tri fold hard cover. I have been using Bak Flips for both of my Toyotas (Tundra and Tacoma's). They are nice because they fold flat with the bed of the truck (the don't stick up above the bed). But, they are pricey. When I wanted a cover for the wife's Overland, I went with a less...
I would rather have this Jeep doing it's thing on hills. I had a 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro and it hunted for the right gear even on minor grades. And, that was with the 6 speed auto.
I don't understand how there would be LED lights in the back, but conventional lamps up front. I thought the LED group covered both front and back... Parts issues?
So far I have used Hotheads on 2 vehicles. My wife got an Overland and it didn't have the OEM headliner so I put in the hotheads with sound assassin strips. When we got a Wrangler, it didn't have headliners either, so I added that. On both vehicles it mad a big enough difference that I would...
This Gladiator and my Marlin 45-70 are 2 of my favorite tools in the shed. I have had the 45-70 for 6 years, taken 2 white tails and one elk (and pulverized countless coyote's). The Gladiator has taken me safely through 3 off road events and only one time have I needed a winch And that was to...
Well, since that scratch is so high up, running through the creosote bushes is off the list.... I have always liked that "desert pinstriping" on new vehicles.....
I had the same problem with a different vehicle. I had a friend or mine that lives in Arizona register the car in his state and did a letter letting me "borrow" the car. That worked until I could move from California.
P. S. I now own 2 newer Jeeps in New Mexico (where I now live) and don't...
There is a parallel circuit of wires under the hood as well as under the dash on the passenger side. Look to the side of the battery near the wall of the fender (under the hood). There will be a wrapped pigtail there with wires from each switch. Check page 78 of your owner's manual for further info.
You probably did that through the overseas sales program. I used it way back in 1994 to buy a Ford Aerostar. Big friggin mistake as it came to me from Germany and ti was a wrecked (i found out later) vehicle. They sold junk then and they probably sell junk now. From that time, I will never ever...
Could be because of the chip crisis? Anyway, I love the ACC on my Rubicon. I actually use it in those big rolling parking lots like the 405 in So. Cal. My wife hates it because she is a control freak. She gives me crap when I use it because I end up behind someone doing the speed limit. That...
I have the Rubicon, and love it. I will leave all the OEM stickers and have added a few more. I just love that 4 wheel drive badge from the Willys so I put it on both my JTR and on the wife's Wrangler Sahara. Back in the 1960's my uncle had an old jeep around the property and we used to drive it...
I hate Serius/XM. They are a bunch of lefties controlling media. I do not use them and have shut down all of the "marketing" pushes to get me or any one in my family to finance their leftie endeavors.
Got mine for my 21 Gladiator Rubicon. They do the update on Friday... I have the back up vehicle (Toyota 21 TRD Pro Tacoma, yeah, I plan that stuff) ready.
Well, I have a similar story but for different reasons. My wife is the one who picked out the Gladiator. We picked up a 2021 Gladiator Overland. Drove it to California (from Las Cruces) a week after ownership. I liked it a lot. My experience was with (for pickup trucks) a 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro...
My experience with Hotheads has been pretty good. I had a 21 Gladiator Overland that was "liner less". Hotheads and sound assassin strips was a good choice. Notable reduction in sound (less internal and external noise bouncing around) and drop in radiant heat penetration. My wife's Wrangler...
