There are several quiet AT tires like the Cooper Discoverer ATP II tires. I have a few friends running these and I am installing a set tomorrow on my truck.

It works really well, I have see the rock crawler guys do this as well. Just winch out to a tree with a tree saver strap and snatch block and back to the rear piller of the cage to pick up the tire. Unfortunately my rear radius rod stripped so I had to redo it while my friends went to get a...
I agree having to figure out how to get out of being stuck or broken makes the trail much more memorable.
I used my winch to a tree strap and back to the rear of my cage on my RZR to use it to pick up the rear wheel (like a jack) to fix a broken radius rod and axel recently.
I'm glad to hear you are liking the Goodyear Ultraterrain tires. I have been running them in the E rated version on my Ram 2500 with solid results as well. They look great on your JT.
